The mystery is that the 450 HP one was actually supercharged, and the one they've put in GT4-GT6 wasn't. It was just the final production version of the car in GT2 with the wrong name. And considering the badly written second person idle wondering about how a car mysteriously came up with the horsepower it was claimed to have when it had a documented, infamous disaster of production history and PD had direct access to the car and presumably the company as well for modeling purposes, I can't really imagine how awful of a job they could do trying to justify in real terms how a Veyron could be made a feasible Miata competitor when they were the ones who made it so.
Oh, I see. Thanks for the info. This magic increase of power got me curious

Are you sure? Because there is no active steering option in GTS beta, at least in th EU version.
Please note that I said "in the US" and yes, I am sure. @sems4arsenal is using his US account and will see the option as "active steering" instead of "countersteer assist". They are just different names for the same steering aid. I hope this clears up any confusion. I wonder what it is called in the Asian region version?

Mario Kart Assist?

Saw that earlier, dropped a 'like' to show my little support for them. ;)
Good idea. Gotta give them a leg up. Small business is hurting.

One of the best pieces of news following the GT Sport announcement was that the cars can be decked out with custom liveries, and Yamauchi demonstrates the system in his office. It’s far, far more in-depth than I’d actually expected. It’s a fully-featured editor – you can choose from pre-made decals and shapes, or you can make and share your own, from scratch. GT fans who’ve been lusting for a livery editor capable of keeping up with the one available in the Forza Motorsport series for many years (and, more recently, the wrap editor in Need for Speed) are about to have their patience rewarded.

Lot of people still supporting GT imo. Just because the era has changed doesn't mean you have to let go your precious memories and experience playing GT, that what makes some of us who were long fans of the series stand still until these days.

For those who already left GT and change sides we can't blame them. Probably they find a better game to play and enjoy with. Some of them will be back if they found new GT is interesting and appealing, some of them would not because they might already pleased with their own pick of other racing games out there.

If only they'd show us.
The most that has been shown is this 911.

And say that's a pre-made livery, I don't believe they would instill limitations to prevent from making others like it. It would be a real smack in the face if they manage to limit it for us. It is pretty basic though. Then again, why only allow for two-tone paint jobs and decals. They could have made anything to show off. Instead, they chose that car with that livery.

Well, Gulf livery is the most Porsche related thing ever I guess... (besides Martini and Rothmans).

Here is the thing : 917 and Steve McQueen. That's it

Just got back from Goodwood today, Just so everyone's aware they have GT Sport setup in the Drivers Lounge as above, Media Centre Stand behind Williams Brand Centre. Need Media Passes for both of these :(. And a public setup at the same place as last year by the FIA Stand as In my picture attached.

Finally got my first go on the T-GT, Wheel wasn't 100% Fastened down to the stand... that or a Kid loosened it. Wheel feels excellent. Wasn't amazed by the Pedals like I was with the T3PA Pro. Wheel feels very premium but the Rim isn't as large as I hoped it would be still feels 28cm? But feels quality. Feedback was excellent and was running the latest build. Polyphony & Sony came to install their latest build on the stand yesterday assuming E3 2017 Build. You can race the new cars as revealed in previous footage recently and selection of tracks at different times of day as well. More polished than the Beta and In Car View has the updated turning ratio via Hands on Wheel (180 Degrees) which was great to see. Did a cheeky lap on Nurburgring in the Corvette C7.R sounded lovely.

If your going to Goodwood this week make sure you drop by ththe FIA Stand. Kazunori will not be there this weekend sadly as I was told by the staff he's staying back at base to get the title finished and sadly dropped out of attending last minute this year which was a shame as I've met him every year over the last couple etc!

I see what you mean. I would have used the Ford GT as an example, but they're both heavy classics. Fingers crossed for a historic racing car series.

I can't connect to server for some reason.

It gives me this [NE-210003ED]

I need something to hold me over until Crash Bandicoot tonight. Damn it PD give me my fix.

Edit: OK I think they heard me and now I can connect again. :D

Been reading that for the last 20mins too. Only just managed to connect after numerous restarts and pressing race.

Same, and I play whatever suits my moods tbh
I've also owned AC, PCars and Forza which some of you guys think are obviously superior and enjoyed them, but for me, there's some special 'charm' that makes me coming back to GT. Will get GTS this year and then FM7 later after I'm done upgrading my gaming rig

Thanks for the hands on!
Can we expect some gameplay videos? (preferably direct feed, but off-screen footage will do just fine)
Curious about the improvement and/or new content if compared with the E3 build

So Gr. X is apparently a thing, not sure how it'll be used in the game, though:

Since the initial announcement of a class-divided car list I'd been theorizing that PD could probably come up with a "Gr. X" (X being for experimental) type grouping at some point, in my head allowing the inclusion and usage of a balanced class holding stuff like the Chaparral, Red Bull X cars, and top-tier SRT Tomahawk, plus any other oddities that come about from either PD or the VGT program. Personally (assuming PD is able to further develop the engine to appropriately accommodate and accurately simulate all of these machines without severely modifying the engine/hampering progress on conventional car development), I think it'd be really cool to push these cars out of their original one-make destiny and create such an experimental series of wildly differing cars, and on top of that it'd feel like they'd be given a little bit more of a "purpose".

I don't know what sort of role this classification actually will play in the game (if any at all), but if it does become a bona fide racing class I do hope it appears infrequently in sport mode and is completely non-existent in the full fledged esport competitions. I feel I'm in the minority when I say I actually really enjoy and appreciate the bizarre and sometimes sci-fi-like creations that PD/VGT/Concept projects sometimes put out, but despite this, I don't want the game to be giving spotlight to stuff that hasn't been proven in the real world, or in some cases (like the 2X) can't really be proven even in theory. How I see it, GT and simulator games in general need to be centered around reality, utilizing, combining, and focusing on real world concepts, objects, and physics, leaving the experimental stuff as extra side content.

But, given that it is a video game, I think there's always room to play about, and this could be one of the cool little quirks that PD's put into the GT series for this iteration. They just need to make sure the main game gets proper support on top of it unlike GT6 did.

Can someone help me.
I tried in 3 accounts to get beta invite, its been like 1 week no luck.

Can i get some from you? Or how can i?

Even if you get a code from someone else, your PSN ID would not be allowed to access the beta.

Us beta is tied to selected psn ID's, but EU is not. I got a US code and couldn't access the beta on US account (on which the code was activated). But when EU beta started, I could normally play it with the US beta client on my EU account. :dopey:
