Tried to qualify for some Sport Mode races and got network errors in trying to match.

Gonna dive into Scapes tomorrow.
Yep, tried to join two sport races so far, just sits at preparing to match and then doesn't match. Worse of all you can't leave the session as the exit option is greyed out.

Only way out is to quit to the PS4 home screen or wait for it to error out.

Anyone else finding Section 6 Missions hard? I haven't managed to gold any lol

i managed to gold 1 of them so far, they are definitely not as easy as they seem which is a nice challenge really just means you learn about your car each time you retry the mission

The thing that concerns me is after I got done, the servers were in maintenance. If it didn't save I'm gonna throw my controller out the window.

Edit: IT DIDN'T SAVE? F:censored: off.

Had something similar happen to me. Isn't this Online idea great? So great.
Remember when saves would just.. save? And exist on your drive until you yourself F'd something up? I'm glad we've thrown that out the window and really taken the saves to the next level.

Yes the rims they could be better, on both games. Like I said: the lighting on GT Sport is completely at another level, and if it had rain it would look even better. No game is perfect, but the polygon count on the GT Sport rims is very poor and the less said about the McLaren engine comparison the better. GT Sports engine looks like 2d PS2 graphics, while Driveclub's engine modelling in the picture I posted is almost flawless.

Despite it being just a demo, the potential GT Sport has is incredible. And I have no doubt it will be a better game than Driveclub. I just expected more from the graphics over a almost 4 year old game and PD's reputation. I think that is reasonable to expect as much?

Has anyone played on a wet track? I don't have the demo right now, but I saw a livestream in which the streamer was racing on a wet track. Some nice reflections.

I think I am missing something obvious, but I can't seem to find the demo on the PS store that doesn't have a PSN plus requirement. Where is everyone finding the download from, if not subscribing to PSN plus?

sorry if asked already but could someone quickly enlighten me on the following: I Don't have an active Ps+ am I supposed to be able to play against others in this DEMO?(Yes i know you'll need PS+ for full version) I was able to do qualifying in online/Sport mode but then didn't connect to other players. No online impressions yet.
Just got this message:

'A network error has occurred. [NE-2100028D]'

Anybody know what this means?
there we go had similar issue but I'm not sure if the error code is identical to yours.

Spend at least an 40 minutes just to try and get gold on the first mission where you have to use your own group B car on the infield. Closest I managed was 26.256.

Then I went and checked the video guide: the gold time in that one is 27.xxx seconds instead of the 26.200 seconds we have.

And the guide even showed it done with traction control on and still making it on time.

BOLLOCKS!

I can't buy any car. Is that suppose to happen? O.o ^^ Getting Cr. for no reason.

Yes. You'll be transferring your potential 8 cars
(Gr. B Car you got for free, 4 daily mile awards, both mission rewards, and the skill challange reward), and up to 1million credits to the full game. The demo is only to test out the game and get a small head start on the 17th.

In the first mission of part 6 where you drive the Mustang around an infield festival track (sorry the name escapes me) I was getting frustrated as I couldn't alter any car settings and I wanted a little oversteer rather than the TC induced understeer.

I accidentally quit out a screen and there I could tune my car as I own the Mustang and set the TC to 0.

Then I went back in and the mission car had no TC.

I'm not sure if this is planned but it means that there can be vast improvements made on the driving missions once you own that car.

Lol that mission annoys me, i might have to use my controller for those missions, I just spent an hour on mission 6 trying to get gold on that one, and missions 4 for was a good 30-45 minutes itself only 2 I have managed to get gold on so far

Okay so I'm playing on my ps4 controller and I'm using the setup where L2 is the brake and R2 is to accelerate I was wondering why I was so slow but i just found out that something most be wrong with my controller because when I press the r2 button to accelerate it doesnt go full throttle smh I wonder if it's just a bug or my controller is messed up :(

"Non-Plus members receive access later today, at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET on October 9 (2 AM BST / 12 PM AEDT on October 10)"

Just had to research that for my friend as well.

it is a controller issue itself, mine does the same so i chance to triggers being up shift and down shift, square is brake and x is throttle. I will need to buy a new one to get that remedied as soon as i can

Yes, I suspected that. But I see people with great cars already. I didn't get much luck I guess haha.

A Focus, a Mito, a 4C Gr.4 and a 650S GT3 (this one is cool). I don't like FF cars that much.

I think it's car dependent, I seem to have lucked out with the Lancer Evo, which beat the time even though I forgot to turn of TC.

tried doing stage 6 mission 1 with my Ford Focus Rally car, that is a right pain in the ass on a wheel, but i will get back to it, i wanna get the free car before this beta ends no matter what

Well, I gotta say. I’m impressed. It may have limited tracks at launch, but this feels like a really polished product. I’m may have to invest

I was just trying that. I deffinatly performed the worst in this test but I probably enjoyed it the most.

Got the Mustang myself. Tried both with and without TC, different brake balances and diff settings, no luck

50:50 on the diff and it understeers, 45:55 has been the best so far, anything up from that and the rear gets around.

And I'm using the triggers for gas and braking, but they feel so sensitive.
