HOW can we have 24h endurance races while GTS does NOT have dynamic time of day???
24 hours night..
We have known for a long time that time would not be dynamic. You can select certain times of day but it does not change dynamically. FM7 has a few different baked lighting conditions that make it appear like dynamic TOD but it's not really. PC2 is the only game that does dynamic track, TOD and weather correctly and hence why it doesn't look quite as good as either GTS or FM7.

And if the reddit user from the post above is correct we are not even going to have different weather conditions in GTS. So endurance races will become very bland IMO.

GTS, smallest track, car & feature count. Still it looks very pretty.

Exactly. So, how can we race a 24 Hour race if the time doesn't change?? That's not going to be good I suppose.

Since the beginning we know there is don't have dynamic time... Ok, it is an absurdity to run 24hours with the same sky or weather.. But, it's Kazunori...

I doubt it. Dynamic time of day would have to be built into the game from scratch and it wouldn't make sense for it to only appear in endurance races.

I really have hopes for a new trailer showcasing everything and some unrevealed things..

We've got wiper in the demo yes, but it's not the proof there will be rain condition.. In the demo, there is the turn signals, but it's not really useful ..
I used them to overtake in sport mode and in lobbys. It is also a great indicator when pausing your game in online to show others that your auto drive is in use.

Is the time supposed to change after a pit stop?
 
I'm starting to get a little worried about Arcade Mode, considering that it looks like you only have a handful of cars as rental cars to use, besides your Garage cars. If that were really the case, we should convince Polyphony to make all the cars in the game, as well as future DLC cars available as rental cars for Arcade Mode. The ability to use cars in your Garage can stay, but they better make all the cars in the game available right off the bat. Or maybe as a better idea, since some tracks are locked before you reach a specific driver level, why don't they add all the cars in the game to use as rental cars, then add a level cap before you can unlock and drive them, like how Driveclub is.

I thought Kaz wanted driving to be for everyone, but then he still won't add all the cars in the game into arcade mode. Every other mainstream racing game, such as their competitors (notable examples like Forza, Project CARS and Assetto Corsa, etc.) allows everyone to drive every car in the game right away in their arcade/free play single player modes, and any future cars (either through DLC's and/or updates) that land in these games over time are also added straight to it. Some even require you to unlock cars before using them (like for example, the latest racing game with this idea being Driveclub).

With Gran Turismo, this method of only a handful of cars like in GT6 should stop. This has been my biggest criticism since GT6 and if they don't improve on this, it's time to take a stand together and provide this constructive criticism straight to PD's official Facebook page or something like that, hoping that this'll be enhanced in a future update.

Credits were easy to grind in the demo. Even when AFK with your car parked.

Mileage points may be too, didn't try AFK driving.

I love the fact that you dont have acces to all the cars right from the start, it motivates me to progress through the game.

I dont know why but games like PC or AC where you dont have to win/buy anything dont motivate me and so it is that i already had more playtime in the GTS demo than in either of the two full games.

- As suspected, Campaign is not playable without connection (Blog post didn't mention it, if you noticed). I'm guessing it needs the data for the first few online races you do.

I thought 10K would be too much so I spend all I could upgrading all my cars. :D Still end up with +8K.
5K is nice.

I should of upgraded all my cars, why didn't I think of that. Still wondering if all 10 of my cars will transfer. If not I don't mind losing the DS3 and genesis.
