How do I get my DR up? I figured finishing on the podium in a 12 car race should start increasing it a bit but it seems it’s not enough?

I just had my first 5 or so races and I finished on the podium in all of them I think. Sometimes beating people who had higher than E DR. Still, my DR bar is completely empty. Is this normal? Is there maybe a minimum amount of races you need to do for it to start going up?

I am DR B SR S. Lately, people are driving like they just don't care or like they have figured out how they can get around the penalty system to their advantage.

I admit that last days are bad for me to cant get back to S because of agressive players..... no without stopping racing that is.
 
Just done a one hour race at the Nordschleife in a Porsche Cayman Clubsport GT4 against Pro AI. Started on pole for frame rate reasons, completed 8 laps and didn't see another car all race. 2 or 3 minutes lead in the end. Pre race tests in Arcade mode at the same track indicated that the AI should have been able to keep up.

I could do with a couple more difficulty settings.

The track is very impressive now. Much better than in the beta.
 
I don't understand my pace on this game sometimes. I do Dragon Trail in the Gr3 GT by Citroen and the Peugeot 208 and I'm inside the top 10 for the European servers, but today I tried the Gr4 Viper around Interlagos and the Audi TT Cup car around the Nurburgring GP circuit and I'm well over a second away from the top times on both occasions. Dragon Trail is definitely one of my favourites but this happens quiet often.

It would be amazing if we could just search up and view the replay of any lap from any person to learn where time is lost a bit like GT6. Though this is probably already a thing and I just haven't realised. :lol:

Had my first taste of Sport Mode last night via the 10-lapper daily at Bathurst. I was probably throwing myself in at the deep end, but it was late, and I didn't want to wait more than 5 minutes for an event to start because I had work the next day. Managed to guide my Citroen GT Gr. 3 to a respectable 6th. My SR did inevitably take a hit because the downhill sections were a bit awkward and I found myself stuck in the middle of a convoy more than once, but I was extremely pleased with the result.
 
Binned the Cayman GT4 one make race at the Nurburgring GP yesterday. I went for a dive on the chicane before the last corner and didn't pull up in time. I was forced to cut the corner, and seemingly as punishment, I was respawned in the middle of the chicanes. Stupid. My Group 3 race at Interlagos was hectic and quite frustrating. Got pushed around by a Beetle and an NSX after qualifying third. I ended up coming fourth, but I had to push the NSX wide coming onto the main straight. That Beetle got away with far too much, he should've been penalised.
 
Anyone with a CSL Elite can you report back if they have implemented support Natively for the wheel yet or if the Wheel feels different in compatibility mode? Thanks!
 
Am I the only one who is getting really annoyed by people using high beams? I mean sure, PD made them default, whenever they decided headlights are needed but why are high beams default??? First thing I do when I drive I switch to low beam instantly :D

Is there really a major difference between high and low beans? I've barely noticed any in my experience.

Anyway, I only flash my headlights to signal a pass. It's necessary in track day lobbies with painfully slow drivers. I wish PD brought back horns (Especially the one from Jay Leno's Tank Car) as a way to non-verbally call out bad drivers. Headlights don't have the same impact or emotion behind them. :grumpy:
 
Bought it couple days ago, and I am having of the best times in gaming since a long time. The current price for GTS is a steal, altough i just experienced my first real problem with the penalty system. Waited like 2 hours for the nations cup, trained, did qualifications and came 3rd, start of the race, the second turn i am being bumped by 3 people at the same time, I AM getting a penalty of 12 seconds, i carry on from like an 8th position then im getting smashed again and end up 15th, with a car that barely drives and it seems that the pit stops arent open? after 1 lap i had to quit the game which left me feeling really salty. I reckon for some people with hot temper the game can be really annoying, unless you stick to the singleplayer.
 
Does anyone know how to access the 'two-car' shots where you snap both of the front and rear of the car? I see you can't add the same car twice in Scapes.

Dont quote me on this but Sport races dont use pits. Most of the races are a few laps so no real need to pit however if you go into Lobby, there each player will make their own settings to the track including fuel consumption, tire wear etc or 30 lap race so you will be using the pits throughout. Dont get down because of Sports mode....its not really working as it should. I suggest go for the "campaign", its addicting and online lobbies. I jump in Sport race from time to time but would not be my main play area.
 
You just lost your "best time" list. If you have a friend list and are competitive, you probably tried to beat their time in order to be on the top of the list. With the new update, some tracks have new time limit and cars behave slightly faster therefore they just wiped the whole list and now you have to do it all over again...if you actually care :D As far as most people are concerned, everything else in the update is for the better: Better tire grip, slightly faster, campaign is now a bit easier due to new gold medal times, 3 new cars, new scapes etc.

Looked around and couldn't find too much on this. I just got the game and noticed that sometimes shifts are super delayed, and the traction control light comes on during the delay. Am I missing a hidden traction control option? This happens even with TC at 0.

This doesn't happen anymore, I guess the update fixed it. Figured I'd update in case anyone was wondering the same thing.
 
Just to let everyone know, the game is now on sale 34% Off on PSN Store(U.S). The sale will end on November 30th and I know some of you probably brought the physical copy on Black Friday. I am just happy that I waited patiently for the game to be on sale digital and now I will buy the standard edition.

BTW where is Lewis Hamilton in the game? Before release they promoted him as your mentor, giving you advice on driving etc. Well im 80 hours in and just remembered that fact and Im pretty sure i havent heard anybodies voice or tips on singleplayer etc.

Hmm well it states he is supposed to be appearing as informational videos. I haven’t checked out the “Lewis Hamilton” museum, but I’m wondering if this content is there?
