So today's daily races: 2 one make and 1 Gr.4. Really PD? Gr.4 is BoP is broken and there's no Gr.3 races. Great. I guess I won't race today.

1 one make race should be enough. I like Gr.3 10 lap races. Gr.4 is just stupid at this point with Meganes and Siroccos making entire grids.

Thankfully we have the livery editor, I've long given up with Sport mode until people get rightly penalized for driving like tools and until there is a balance fix.

Penalty system got overhauled already. I reckon its pretty close to the mark, now it just needs the missing flags like black and blue.

I agree with black and blue flags but I don’t see how black flags could be implemented properly without wrongfully disqualifying people... sure it works great for the intentional rammers, but I don’t see how the system would be able to set that apart from accidents, and people who were rammed by others being punted into others and so on...

Maybe I’m just thinking of it wrong, but I just don’t see how it would work properly

After another race where I finished with a red S when I usually get a blue, I just thought I'd throw it out there how difficult is to run cleanly behind cars that show a yellow connection or worse. The car just flickers all over the place, one minute on the outside then suddenly right next to you, one time further away then closer, it's a nightmare. So if you are one of those guys that gets a lot of tiny bumps all over the place maybe your or even your opponent's connection is a part of the problem and it's not necessarily dirty drivers.

Is gt sport super slow for anybody else. I sware it takes like 3 minutes to load a scapes photo orneven when i go to sport races, the 3 daily dont show up for a few minutea. Just says online save.

I was in a lobby on Saturday with a guy from South Africa, who had a a single red bar of signal. He was ahead of my on track and seemed to take the usual breaking point, as I did, no drama then BANG! he lags into contact with my bumper I loose SR and then he lags forward to where he actually was...

Yes and whilst in your instance it was a lobby so open matchmaking, the South Africans and the like are lumped into the EU region in Sport mode and there is nothing you or they can do about them lagging. Whichever region they go in they will be issues due to ping, it's just one of them unfortunate things.

The guy I had issues with the last time was Spanish and usually most of them are fine to race against, it's just the odd one with lag issues. Also had it with other British guys too, in fact there is an odd one from most countries. So it's these that need to wonder sometimes if connection was the real cause or not.

After reading the post below I just wanted to say for those beloved family and friends who loves and dedicated their lives for GT but no longer with us anymore may all of their souls rest in peace :

Classy guy. Makes a livery to commemorate his friend, gets a response from Kaz and immediately advocates for drag racing.

Thank you for posting this comment; this makes a lot of sense to me, and explains my own experience.

FWIW, GT Sport is a complex software system; it takes a lot of time to work out the bugs. Anecdotally, in 1999 I met a senior Microsoft engineer who shared with us the fact that at the time of release, Windows 3.10 had over 3000 known bugs.

So it is through our participation in the game that PD can figure out what is not working properly, and through our constructive criticism they can gain a sense for what the user base would like.

Am I the only one who can’t download replays to watch them? It’s been like this since yesterday PM.

It's been the case for me as well. I find out that it would work after trying it a few different times.

On another note, anyone know how to move the pictures taken from the game to my laptop for editing? I figured I'd try using a USB drive but I wasn't sure what the file type would be and if that affects the quality of the image.

Go on the website and click on the arrows to make it full screen and you’ll be able to download a high resolution version of it.

It’s so much easier this way!

I tried the Gokart today for the first time, because its in the daily races.
With my G29 i dont have to steer more than 1 or 2 cm to the right or left to make the turns on the hole miyabi track.
Somebody with the same issue?

(Sorry for my bad English)

Yes it’s been like that even in the Beta ;)

It worked like a charm. I was hoping to have access to my full gallery but it seems like I can only get the ones that I shared. I figured since everything is saved on the server, why not have access to everything on the website as well?

Guess i kinda won a race today? :dopey:

I don't think new thread is necessary for this so I'll ask here. I have a standard PS4 and play on DS4, should I get this game? I have XONE as well and Forza 7 seems like a disappointment, the game has quite a few bugs, the sounds are very much mixed bag and even to the point where some cars sounded waaay better in Forza 6 or Horizon 3. It's not the standard very polished Forza game I have expected. I don't want to start a Forza vs GT debate, especially since GT has completely different approach. I have played the beta a little bit, I didn't like the controller steering, countersteering was a bit slow I think, I don't know how it is in a final game though. Does the game play decent with a controller and still look and play good (I know it will not be Pro quality but still, I'm not very demanding when it comes to graphics, I'm more concerned about the frame rate) on old, loud PS4? The recent news about the updates (sort of GT Mode, 12 new cars some of which I like and the plans to give the game 50 free cars and new tracks before March made me interested, I especially wait for Le Mans track) as well as the fact that it just seems very polished and has decent cars sounds made me think about getting it. Is it worth it?

I came over from Xbox and playing Forza for a long time, and GTS is an absolute blast. I think the answer to your question relies a lot on what you’re really looking in for a racing game because this iteration of GT focuses heavily on online/competitive racing rather than the usual car collecting motif.

I’m a DS4 user and the controls are great! There are sensitivity options you can adjust to your play style and you can even use the DS4 motion controls as a midway point between controller and wheel if you’re inclined to do so. Many on the forums rave about this feature but I have yet to use it personally...

I’m a standard PS4 user because I refuse to buy another console in the same generation :P... that said it looks absolutely stunning still and everything really is on point.

My opinion is go for it! It’s only going to get better from here and PD seems to really be listening to fan feedback

As far as controllers are concerned, I can't comment on how they feel, but it's definitely possible to set times just as fast as wheel users can and I've seen people get into the top 10 on the leaderboards using it so from that point of view it plays better than on previous GT games.

Get it if you like online racing. Try out motion controls for steering.

You really should buy it. I've never had so much fun in a racing game before. The competition is great for the most part, the livery editor is excellent and it has the best graphics around.
