My ratings just got tanked from DR:C/SR:B to DR: D/SR:E yesterday, thanks to the dirty drivers getting the best of me on Mount Panorama in the FIA Constructors Cup, I rage-quitted in the middle of the race, it's incredible how they bump into me, use me as a stand in corners and I'm the one penalized with my car getting damaged and having to deal with +6 seconds of penalties..I might not even bother to race in said cup again because of how enraged I got.

Seriously, how come there's so many dirty drivers in said cups to begin with?
It doesn't make any sense!

Am I missing something here?
9 out of 10 of the players (including me) had penalties, so I guess this is the widely used technique? I didn't try it in fear of getting too much penalty. (basically everyone in my session used it, the Japanese and Aussies)

Widely used by idiots yes, the penalty you get is far greater than what you gain, at least whenever I’ve accidentally scraped the wall.

Well you could have tried it once to find out. I'd suspect you'd get 5-10s of penalty each time you do it.

Hmmm I don't know how wall-ride penalties go towards your SR, and I was already penalized for getting a corner wrong in that track (2 sec penalties), so I didn't want to risk it. Was trying to raise my SR from B to A at that time too. Guess one-make races tends to be a bit haywire.

After qualifying when I look at all my lap data on the 'Session Result' screen some of my times have an asterisk by them.
Anyone know why, and what it means?

Hey guys just test drove the R34 Nurb around the Nurb 24hr. But I was using comfort sorts. What tyres were Nissan using when the made the world record as my best lap was around 10 or 11 mins with comfort sorts but I've only done 3 laps.

Sport Mode is still a waiting simulator. ... bored ... bored ... bored ... race ... bored ... bored ... bored ... bored... race ... bored ... bored ... bored ... bored.

Freaking awesome Daily Race B today at Yamagiwa.

Fittipaldi VGT is a Volcano. Just explodes but doesn't loose control.

Charm and exciting to race in this car. Superb Stuff. Awesome for racing. Excellent races.

More of it please. Loved this car.

Easily one of my favorite new VGT cars in GT Sport. Something old school about its handling that just works for me.

How is it? I only get around 8 minutes to qualify between Race C races.

Well not really, the races rotate rather quickly for the most part. There's just some occasions where there's nothing going on.

Bit of fun..

Pole position in the daily race A.

In first place after 3 laps... Going into the S corners, and the 2nd place just decided to ram me in to the wall because he couldnt catch me legitimately. I get 10 second penalty and he keeps on driving...

This is rediciolous!!! :banghead:

I hit DR A today. :) The GTR works a charm on today's Race C as its fuel consumption is low and it is a narrow car which suits Brands. The Porsche is also very good but its users tend to use too much fuel and spin their tyres too much. In my third race I went from starting in 15th, down to 20th, and back up to third, running in fuel mix 1 for the whole race and not pitting. It felt very rewarding after spinning off and falling to last place, when I wasn't sure if I'd even get to the top half of the pack.

Guys i think PD should really make AI be more faster and difficult because now in arcade mode even on pro the cars are simply paving the way and it's hard to drive a clean race.
