So finally got my copy of GTS 2 days ago and despite not being the traditional GT that I usually expect, I actually welcome this change.

The first thing I noticed right off the bat is that AIs I wanted is finally there. Competitive enough to satisfy me like what GTR2 did to me since.

The amount of cars is not much of a problem for me considering that GT3 had lesser cars back then. Plus the amount of fictional race cars don't hurt either since it's a throwback to the original GTs with the LM Edition cars.

I also don't mind having to save my game while I'm online. Much better than always online.

The Photomode is one thing that stands out to me the most especially the Scapes. Now I can create good photos with GT Sport.

Overall, I'm pretty much sold with GT Sport. I knew I made the good choice since that time I had a decision to make whether I should pick up GT Sport or NFS Payback and I chose GT Sport.

Can't wait for further post game updates for GTS.

Race 1: Qualified 4th. Finished 9th

Got bumped off the track on the second turn.

Race 2: Qualified 2nd and I finished... 8th.

Because of one ******* moron who decided it would be a good idea to ******* bump my rear and send me off the track as I watched my competitors drive away.

The guy who hit me? Maintained 2nd place and finished second. I hope his house burns down. I gotta start keeping pictures of puppies nearby to calm me down. The DR: D SR:C experience folks.

On the bright side. I went up to a blue 'B' for my SR rating after the race. Cya SR:C drivers! This is the only game that has got me close to tossing my controller at a window/wall/television

Even up at A S there are still loads of idiots about. They are everywhere in sport mode. Super frustrating!

Started in pole position in todays daily race at Willow Springs.

Out of 4 laps I managed 3 and 1/2 perfect until the last corner, where I had a moment of heartattack and went wide into the sand... Lost the win right at the finish line. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Can't wait until I get my wheel set up and can toss the DS4 controller out the window. :irked:

Does anyone know whether it's possible to do wheelies in GT sport like GT5 and 6? on cars like the cobra? If yes could you leave some setup tips.

Hi !
Sorry if it was mentioned this before, I am almost new on this forum and totally new in GT Sport [ a week only ], but I am curious about something :
In GT6 it is some kind of rating, don't know how to call it, but you know it, when you start GT6, first thing in the menu is that 1 to 5 rating, which is higher if you "show up at work" daily, know what I mean... There is something similar in GT Sport ?

Alternatively, the GT circuit layout of the Nurburgring-GP that uses the alternate final chicane at turns 14 & 15 similar to Assetto Corsa version.

Yea, the version used for the endurance races that extend to the Nordshleife. I've never seen them that chicane when doing the "new" circuit though.

Daily log in bonus? More days in a row you log in the higher the bonus prize money you get? Pretty sure that that isn’t in GTS although as you’ve probably noticed you get a free car for every day you drive a certain distance (can’t remember how far).

True, but you can't sell them ! Just sayin'...

PS : Now I feel like Constanza :)

It's also used on the GP circuit, I'm currently watching a Blancpain endurance 1000k race on YouTube using it. Games like GT, Forza tend to stick to the other chicane.

Is it Pikes Peak? Trees, the stone on the bottom right seem to match with Pikes Peak?

I live here, and have been driving the road to the summit for just over 42 years.
I know the place like the back of my hand.

I do not recognize the parking area in that pic, as much as i would love to.

That said, there is also nothing in the photograph that could rule it out in my eyes, either,
... and that is plausibly a Colorado license plate, as well.
Also, I know that PD was here, scanning the Peak in 2014 or '15, I believe.

Feel like I got robbed of a win today...it happened earlier this morning and even now I'm still really salty about it :banghead: :( :irked:. I made a great pass on the guy that was P1 and managed the rest of the lap keeping P2 in check to cross the finish line first.....then suddenly, as the result pop up the dude that was P14 (according to my view) got awarded the win.

On another note, do we know how much space we have for pictures, replay videos and whatnot? I just tried taking a picture and I got a little note saying I need more space and it wouldn't let me take the picture.

yep, I have seen it many times, there is some bug in online races, especially if they involve a pit stop.

Yeah, they’re just not worth the frustration. I’ve been sticking to Race C lately and I’ve found the quality of racing has improved a lot ever since fuel and tyre depletion has been added.

I mean, I started mine 7th and ended 3rd because of one slightly too egar chap... despite him taking seeming 'retribution' on me after his strange line into turn one... but yeah... I think I'll avoid them again... shame because it's the only GR3 race today haha

The race in question;

10 lap races are usually good, but today's Suzuka 8 lap race was mostly dirty in the end, too many intentional collisions after last chicane in the last lap when people make mistake or are out of fuel are blocking/crashing into people who would otherwise pass them. Shame that some people can't accept their own error.

Gr. 4 gets the same x4 fuel wear as Gr. 3 but tire wear goes from x10 to x8. Is it mostly no pit stops or what? I prefer to pit for tires too even though most say tires can last. If I have a good enough gap it helps to get fresh tires to destroy opponents out of corners on the last few laps.
