I'm driving it the same way I drive other cars, and it doesn't respond well.

That's your problem right there.

Anything from N700 and upwards can reach speeds higher than Gr4 and even Gr3, but it doesn't have the brakes and aero to make up for the extra speed. This is to be expected since these are supped up street cars after all.

I will concede that the Aston Martin Vulcan, Enzo and LaFerrari needs more downforce, but their brakes are what you should expect them to be.

Brake earlier or learn how to trail brake is what you should do.

To be honest, the main problem in these three cars you mentioned is the downforce. One-77 handles rather pleasantly. N800 tuned Ford GT is also good and somewhat stable. LaFerrari, on the other hand, seems to spin wheels even on Racing Hard tyres and otherwise feels too twitchy

The LaFerrari should be driven with TCS 3 or 4 and ESC, at least for me, otherwise I can't even take a slight bend at any speed without the rear sliding around.

Some more stuff on TCRF today for Gran Turismo Sport. The Gran Turismo 3 Race Start theme is in the game data, meant for GT League. I'm going to assume it's meant to play for any event in GT League that has a Grid Start...you know...if we had any.

Listening to that theme without a R34 engine revving up is quite weird.

There's lots of little sounds and references from previous GT games, the GT League Menu, the Soundtrack from GT5/GT6 and the gold/silver/bronze jingles.

Are these the combined views for all the Regional Finals and World Finals?

Those dirt courses look interesting.

This just makes me more convinced that Sport is indeed the modern Gran Turismo 3.

if so...

Next Gran Turismo = modern Gran Turismo 4?
Ya right Gt3 had like 10+ million sales
And amazing drifting.
I hope the next gt is like sport and gt4 combined, (plus gt5/6) but even deeper with actual etiquette school and a properly functional penalty system and driver rating systems.
Maybe even a real life racing license school/ testing program

I've been playing a lot more recently - barely played since launch. I love doing the campaign mission and track challenges. I've just done a few mission challenges that involve pitting and/or managing fuel/tires.

Is there any way to know if a car has pitted? Or you just have to pay attention to the list of player names and make a mental note of when they went into the pit via the tire and fuel sign?

Thanks!

I think GTS' launch physics are why we don't have grid starts. This is the first GT game where the cars just do a 180 when you launch them at full throttle. Not beginner friendly enough, and from a dev standpoint it's much easier to just disable grid starts instead of fixing the physics.

Is it normal for the pit to radio in if your opponent is in the process of pitting AND do they tell you what tyre compound they are using AND how many litres they are taking on?

Like if I'm in an endurance and I'm top 5 and I see what the 1st to 4th guy is doing it gives me a 'tactical advantage' as it were.

Etiquette school!
I wish this game would have offered more to me than ‘racing is a non contact sport’
How hard would it be to have some very basic mission challenges to gain credits with etiquette as the focus?

I Believe they were going to do that... like a real driving school but they canned it for two vids and a free kart.

Bottom left may be an E46 M3 (which would fill out most of the M3 lineage that people care about (sorry E36))

So yeah:
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am '78
Ferrari F50
McLaren P1 GTR
GReddy Datsun 240Z
Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (C2) '63
BMW M3 (maybe the 2004, the one they scanned for GT4)
BMW M3 Coupe '07

Only 7 cars for the Christmas update? Very disappointing to be honest with you

Exactly why is it such a big deal that we are literally only getting two less cars in this update? Were you expecting something that was never promised?

Also, I'd hardly call a update coming out in early December a "Christmas Update".

Wooooow. :(

It indicates when a car is pitting by displaying tire and fuel next to the driver.
Yeah that's what I look for. What I mean is, I'm driving and there's a car coming up behind me or in front of me. Is there any indicator to let you know if they've pitted already besides the indicator when they are pitting? I know that disappears after they leave the pits.

Also, is there any way to zoom out the course map in the dynamic hud so I can better see what turns are coming up? Or to change the static map to be more dynamic and always rotate with your car? This makes it a lot easier to see upcoming turns.

It's not an E46. I don't know how you see it on that shape.

Looks like a Tesla Model S.
