I am one of the editors for the Gran Turismo series on The Cutting Room Floor. I don't just take directly from their page and post here, if that's what the bold-faced text was for; sometimes I do, but other times I post the information here first before it goes on their Wiki. Here is a list of all my contributions.@elston87 can you find ANY interesting stuff, besides shown on tcrf, and in this thread?
The most-intriguing detail about the Roadster with the rear wing is that it has a title graphic with the rest of the cars, which is unusual, but unlike the rest, it doesn't have a thumbnail generated. It could very-well be a "testing guinea pig" for testing out custom parts on cars, that is if the feature is coming to GT Sport at all. I remember from this thread that the car was in red, meanwhile only the white color of the car has a thumbnail.Interesting. Reason why I suddenly asked this is I was watching a video someone exploring the Copperbox/Unveiling/public beta build of GT Sport then when I saw the MX-5 N200, I had to ask you whether if you can find traces of it and here we are. It's also interesting to see that top down picture. Part of me feels like they have more plans for that car.
And sad that there are no traces of the VW GTI Supersport Gr.B.
But thanks for the answer. Keep it up with those finds.
This trick could explain why there is no 360deg camera? To connect the pieces of the puzzle, the video above, at the 2:07-2:10 time stamp, with the Nissan GT-R, the foilage and shrubs in the background behind the right side of the car are actually textures that always face the camera, one of the oldest tricks in the Computer Graphics book still being effectively used today by PoDi.
In Arcade section, when you win a quick race on any track in certain difficulty, you get the pop-up saying something like "Quick Race (track name) completed on (difficulty level)" and a circle appears on track selection screen when you pick a track for Quick Race: blue for Easy difficulty, yellow for Medium and red for Hard. If you complete the race on Hard, you get the other two circles too at the same time
Question: did anyone complete all the Quick Races on all tracks? And if so, did you get any reward for it?
No reward, unfortunately.
I dont think you get a reward for the same reason you dont get a reward for stuff that they add content to.
Like in 5 days time you get another few tracks where you can complete more arcade races.
I thnk its unreasonable to expect a reward in situations like that.
Also these races are really insultingly easy. I dont even know why the put easy and medium. YOu can do them at hard even if you're no good
We've already negotiated with the Formula-E staffs, so there'll undoubtedly be FE cars in GTS.
Yeah I dont disagree there. Why even have these silly arcade races with three difficulties if its just a 3 lap race with extremely weak opponents?
What is the fun there?
i'd be cool if for every win on each difficulty level you got more cars to pick from in arcade mode like in 1, 2, and 3 instead of the having just the same small amount of cars. Also that would be a nice way to test drive cars before buying them.
I personally like the traditional GT League. Sure, the AI could be improved by quite a bit no doubt but at least you don't have cocks driving in the wrong direction, deliberately driving you off the circuit etc.
Yes, it's happened to many of us here. You have to turn off the console and turn it back on.why dump me from the server after 8 races
hould I not drive if I want a red bull ring all day?
means there is a limit, because it does not allow me to change the race, just throw me out
and most sorry, to quit everything, tune my exercises, put me in the start order and then
throw me out
disgracefully
just because I'm from a small country or does it happen to others?
Acura's got a new car. I wonder if we'll get it in GT Sport. Maybe they'll call it a Honda.
Edit: They call it the ARX-05 DPi. It is supposed to debut in January at IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Rolex 24 at Daytona, with Juan Pablo Montoya driving.
I don't know much about real world car racing classes.
Is the aforementioned racing series considered Gr.1? I honestly don't know.
I went back and took another look at the article I saw, and your right. It does say 2017, instead of 2018.What's it like to be stuck nearly 12 months in the past but be able to comment to people in the present?
I ask because clearly you don't know much about real world racing classes as you said, if you had you'd know that the car you posted isn't new, has already been raced and before that tested and driving for at this point a year and a half. I'm almost amazed that someone could be that late to the news but I know a person who does this all the time.

Nice job. Not for being right, but for exposing yourself as an arrogant jerk.
Good to know."Exposing"? You must be new, this isn't secret information. At least you're consistent with being late about information.
I kinda miss GT6. Especially the online car shows.Gran Turismo 6 5th Anniversary (12/05)
