There is no confirmed news so stop treating it as confirmed news that 'Deep Forest is coming too'.

Quote from Kaz, 18 months ago, “We are already working on Deep Forest; we actually have the data for Deep Forest that runs on Gran Turismo Sport but it does have some problems.”

That doesn't mean it is definitely coming, especially not related specifically to an update in the next few weeks. I'm sure there's loads of stuff they started to develop, or have origins for, that hasn't come yet, or may never come. It isn't official confirmation.

And there is no confirmation about Silverstone. It is just rumoured because people were trying to think of a real life FIA Track with multiple layouts, suitable for a mix of cars, that's it. It may come, it may not.

Treating rumours as 99% confirmed is exactly why the stupid Spa stuff happened. People said it was coming just because someone said so, and guess what? GTSport still doesn't have that track.
This why I prefer it when developers speak openly or announce openly about what they are working on. Even if they don't or can't give users a definitive date that projects will be completed. It's always better when people are in the loop. Instead of constantly speculating. It's an antiquated way of doing things...and quite frankly, it's very annoying.

No one outside of PD are entitled to being in that loop, and anyone that does is bound to an NDA as it is.

We already knew that, but thanks. They don't need to expose every little thing they are doing. That's not what I'm implying.

Besides, they can't even consistently stick to any sort of method to tease what they are doing when it is close to release.

Is that true? So far they’ve teased every pack of cars with silhouettes before every update (except for one update where I suppose Kaz forgot to post the image and it was uploaded a few hours after the update dropped), and tracks never get teased, except for St. Croix, which was a brand new original course location PD was bringing alongside the expanded suit editor, and now Goodwood, which was likely teased due to the fact that there were no cars to tease.

And even then, do they really even need to tease the content? It’s not like knowing what’s coming a week or two in advance would be able to change what’s coming...

The teasing of content is to get people eager and prepared for whatever the update will be. It would really suck if you have to grind for credits while seeing people with the 15-20 million car that you didn't know was coming, but really want as soon as the update comes out...

Eager? I just got a three second penalty as a youtuber knocked into my car! Polyphony digital may i remind you this is 2019 AC not 2019 BC, stop testing when you know you already know what to do. Your poor programming just got me to pay for a annual xbox live subscription instead of psn. Sonys loss then. Sooner developers stop testing they may grow some human values. Ground Hog Day races, little content and updates to give people hope, i dont tolerate that behaviour. I call it childish that a multi billion pound developer would rather try out new physics etc at the cost of OUR hard earnt money, not theres. Ps4 off and xbox on. Magically forza has non of these issues as they understand that physics etc are to be done before release. Time sony stepped in like they did with driveclub and done something to make their failed flagship racer once again their flagship racer.

Did they also show the Toyota Yaris in engine that video? I ask 'cause they've sense made they video private.
The video is back up, but that particular bit of footage with the Supra and the Tokyo Tower in the background is from an older promotional video by Toyota. Although it has clear "Gran Turismo vibes", there is no connection between that clip and Polyphony Digital's work.

I don’t see what that has to do with what I said, everyone is on an equal playing field in regard to knowing what the content is in the updates, and PD have been consistent in their teasers except for one time.

I wonder if we will actually see GT Sport continue to evolve on the next console ala iRacing which was originally released in 2008. PD could continue to develop it rather than produce GT7. What do you think?

No-one is entitled to it. But if the community is engaged it brings benefit to PD (see: Rockstar games). Yamauchi giving vague and misleading statements isn't the answer.

I think the community engagement concern from the forum is more about users being able to flag issues or requests to PD.

That's more for the official PlayStation forums though.

Should’ve only quoted that ^

Hello everyone. Two things:
- I have not yet appeared the form to accept the S ranking, since I meet the pre requisites;
- has not yet published the race of the 16 superstars of Central and South America.

What could be happening? My ID is Paulossj4_ART.

I'm starting to get worried because other pilots remain as S under the same conditions ...

Not necessary but I thought would be cute to have these two characters as official GT mascots. Could be useful for merchandise and souvenirs or help you through tutorial and navigate main menu. I knew there is more important thing than this, just my own thoughts by the way.
They're already Sony's official mascots - Toro and Kuro Inoue.

I'm not too sure that "T. Inoue" would be a great mascot for a racing game...
