Just imagine the mass outrage if this was just a giant troll by the mods and the news was actually to do with the new GTP Layout that's supposedly coming soon..

Today, with event in London to come (one week), people expect news on GT Sport.

Hype for a new design on GTPlanet is quite dangerous. And, I believe that change is planned for July if all goes well?

That doesn't explain the tonight part, maybe they're announcing the release date tonight.

Its 9pm in Tokyo, I think we're either going to hear something within the next 3-4 hours or the next window would be 12-16 hours from now (just a hunch with the time zones in mind).

By the way If something is happening today I doubt it's something direct from PD. More likely just news at this site about the London event, a blog post from Sony PS Blog or both.

Ah, but Polyphony do have offices in Amsterdam and Los Angeles, so it's not impossible that releasing information was left with either of those teams. Also, it's not unknown for Polyphony devs to work insane hours on occasion (which is why they literally have hotel rooms to sleep in). If they're gearing up to release the beta soon, the developers might be pulling these long shifts to get it done in time.

All of a sudden, reading all about this so-called "hype" for GT Sport news (such as mentioning about a possible GT Sport-themed event in London in the next coming week) might put me to sleep unless it's really true.

The London beta test being some sort of eSport event and GT Academy 2016 promo/launch in conjunction with GTS. This would be pretty cool if it was true...

Didn't someone say that Jordan said the site update was coming in July? I can't see it being brought forward this far, especially only a few days after he said that.
