In this case, nothing says that this car is SCG003C or other... ?
Correct. We assume, as of now, that it will only be the P4/5 Conpetizione. Who knows what we get, though.

Just from what I've gathered. FIA championship online, some kind of E-members, Virtual or some crap, all seems to be geared to "making friends" online and being part of an "online social community"
That doesn't mean it will be 100% online. Also can you please link the source?

Not maybe 100% but certainly online-focused.
Yeah sorry saw it on one of the pages in the GT Sport section. Please don't ask me for a link. Can't be bothered to go traipsing through the whole thing.

It doesn't but he is right in that the only parts of the game they've told us about so far are the online parts. They've said the "classic" GT game will still be there but haven't said anything about it yet.

My point exactly, Samus. Like they are only promoting the online stuff and the offline stuff is more of an afterthought...

@Ryan81, they've been pushing the whole FIA online championship thing for sure, but the actual social aspect of the game? Not much to be honest. I'm assuming they'll be talking about the whole social part later on though.

All they've said is that the game has a part that concerns the FIA thingy and the rest of it is just a new Gran Turismo

The product page currently only talks of the core tech of the game and the online FIA aspects.

Like I say I'm sure this will change when they talk more about the solo game but so far, their focus has been on the online FIA modes. Nothing about the usual modes and features.

That seems to be the case. I certainly think it's online-focused, but not 100%
Also, sorry, it's just I wanted to make sure where you got the info was from a reliable source. Can't have false rumors spreading or being brought about

It's worrying because single player in recent GT games has been abysmal. Seeing them geared more towards online competition is a bit alarming for those GT fans not interested in playing against others.

...Sony hasn't confirmed whether PSVR will be present, but their presentation is scheduled to go on 5th Jan, 1700PST.

If you're interested, here's the link for live streaming:

PSVR was in the invite they sent and here, and it is retail ready, so short of a delay (first semester window announced during PSX), they'll probably divulge its price and release date tomorrow.

...I checked the link but can't seem to find any concrete details on what they are going to show off.

Yes, I know there's a very good chance PSVR will be there. All I'm saying is, let's just wait a bit, and see if there's a GT:S related stuff shown or not.

It might be completely irrelevant, but I've just noticed this. On the bottom of the GT Sport section on the Japanese version of www.gran-turismo.com, it says this: "※2015年3月末現在". It translates to "March 31st, 2015". However it's only present on the Japanese site, not on the others. I wonder what's up with this.

Seems like there was no PSVR in their presentation today other than a mention (therefore no price/date announcement, at least I said "probably, short of a delay" :ouch:), just show floor demos.
