@Jordan @SlipZtrEm
The "Run down of the day’s events, news and a showcase of the brand new GT SPORT trailer" will be 15min or 30min?
German PS blog says 30min and GTP and the US PS blog says 15min:confused:

Looking forward to seeing you in the flesh as it were @Jordan

One quick question - is there a dress code for this thing? Wouldn't want to get there and get locked out for something as that would be a real downer

As @Samus said, it's an event for gamers. It's hardly likely to be black tie. I'll be there in jeans and a t-shirt (this one, in fact):

(Apologies for the rubbish quality, that's a photo of an aeroplane screen)

Wonder if ACP will be there. I want to meet him. Got such a connection with him during the GT6 livestream. :) Just too bad I can't afford to go.

Yep, I got on f5 early and it showed 200 available, 10 seconds to fill out my name and email and I was sorted with ticket #001. :D

What part of the Airplane were you in? Its kinda not well lit in there:lol:

GT Facebook answered me about beta :

Day -6 ;)

I expect the beta launch date will be announced at the London event. I don't think it'll be released in May, or certainly won't be released before the 26th if it is (seeing as that would make the playable GT Sport booths at the Nurburgring a bit pointless). Who knows, depending what players say to the Polyphony staff, or if they give feedback via the Facebook page, they might delay the launch of the beta to make those changes if there are any glaring issues. Mind you, I would expect them to be reasonably confident in their product to host an event like this.

A few of us have been saying it for a while but my money is still on the day of E3, during the conference in a "download it right now" moment. They love doing those.

Out of interest, will this be the first time the two GTPlanet admins finally meet in person?

Anyway looking forward to it. Amazing to have a GTPlanet ticket to go to first public GT SPORT playable event. PDI and GTPlanet having a party with cars designed for GT on show. Is this reality? Thanks to all involved in making this happen.
Yes, I'll be meeting @Famine for the first time on media day, Thursday. Finally, I won't have to say I've published a book with a guy I've never actually met! There will be many other GTP staff members attending as well who I am very excited to finally meet.

This really is an unprecedented event.

Looking forward to meeting you as well, Jim. There is no dress code that I am aware of - just dress comfortably.

@Jordan , Ive been thinking, now that we know a new GT Sport trailer is incoming, is it possible if you could ask PD to release a non compressed version of it? The Youtube trailers are so highly compressed.
Maybe GT Planet could be allowed to host a HQ HD version of it on Mega etc?
If they include an uncompressed version in the press kit, I'll share it.

I'm not sure yet. I wouldn't take any source as too accurate just yet, as the details of the broadcast are still being arranged. I'm sure it will be as long as it needs to be.

Damnit, I live so close to the Olympic Park (as in I work there) but caught wind of this too late. :banghead:

I shall be watching with a close eye...:odd:

I'll post here if any of GTPlanet's tickets become available again due to cancellation, errors, or other issues. I want as many GTP members as possible to attend the event, so keep an eye on this thread.

Jordan, The Rock of the Gran Turismo world. :D

While I left a post in the news feed, I just want to repeat here what an awesome job you do, and an awesome guy you are. I just wish you'd deem to come down from on high more often to hang out with us peasants, because it seems more civil when you do. ;)
