i think this will be the next GT7.

Calling it GT Sport falls in line with younger gamers and competitive sims.
Some of us old dogs (im 30) may hate that thought but the game and its title need to attract fresh interest..

Either way, I'm excited to see the next Gran Turismo and look forward to turning a few laps!
As long as we get a New GT idc what they call it. I love this series with a passion. I'm not much good at it without assists on or nothing else and I can't tune a lick, but I love cars and they beautiful music they make with each rev of the engine or each squall of a tire in the corner.

Preparations going on at GTPlanet HQ.

Would I be correct in assuming that the news later, and for the rest of the week, won't include the likes of screenshots or the like? I mean, it is unlikely anything other than some nice tidbits will be released before Thursday right?

I seriously doubt we'll be getting new footage of GTSport until the event, screenshots or otherwise.

Guessing it will be a celebration of GT's past and some hints.

I agree, but I do think it a dangerous game to hype the fans up that have waited years with not really a word about the game unless you have something substantial. Especially as we all know we get "everything" on Thursday.

That's why I mentioned the word tidbits because that is what I think the GT week is all about.

Only PD needs three years to scan a car for a game, the SEMA winners are evidence of that.

It's worth it though. To me, most GT6 premium cars on PS3 look just as good, if not better than the same models in PCars on PS4.

Apologies if these aren't exact comparisons but I have both games and systems and it shows through on my TV as wel
Believe it or not, PCars's twitter is being followed by Gran turismo's, don't know why, but it's just surprising at first view . And talking about time changes, London is 6 hours ahead of Lima, so I, with my laptop and lunch (beans badly), will be able to see the whole stream at noon :D

My curiosity has peaked. I don't have any sleeping pills left and I suffer from bad insomnia, so I guess if I have to stay up all night, then that's what I'll do. Not that celebrating my nations "birthday" tomorrow counts.. (It really doesn't. GT is what's on my mind!)
:cheers::gtpflag::lol:

I'm grabbing my Pitch fork here, GT4's intro is by far the best one for me. And I prefer the Kasabian version. There I started a civil war.

I love the GT1 intro. Remember watching it for the first time at my friends place. We played all day long. Never skipped the intro. Got the game and his PS1 back home to show my dad. We instantly bought a PS1 just because of Gran Turismo. We got hooked. We got to play all the way until March the 19th, 2004. Then he tragically died from a heart attack at home. Oh, I miss my dad. Wish I could tell him that GT Sport is about to come out. Show him how far the graphics have developed since he last played Gran Turismo 3 and Concept 2002 Tokyo-Geneva. I wish I could tell Kazunori Yamauchi-san how grateful I am for creating this wonderful game. How he made me appreciate cars, see them as more than a box with wheels and an engine. I am who I am today thanks to Yamauchi-san, and of course my dad. Thanks to you both.

Don't waste a lunch break! The first one is still a few hours out, so you've got time. 👍
Great new article on the front page, and damn, those trailers definitely bring the memories back. :) But, with the "first one" bit, does that mean there will be another article "for the feels" in the next couple of hours? Just curious.
