That is after the London event.

So that's why I asked does it still count.
Regarding the GT1 intro...

Always get chills after the logo when you hear them revving engines. Feels so good, why do humans do this?

We will never know...

Glad the video article is going over so well! For those curious, my own nominations:

GT5 TGS Trailer:

Why: Because this Chemical Brothers song is 🤬 perfect. Bonus points for mystery El Capitan shot.

GT5 Intro (JPN):

Why: It’s a monster at almost six minutes, the first three minutes almost a painful reminder of how self-serious PD is. It felt a little too grandstandy, but after such a long wait for a proper PS3 title, it was quite an event.

GT3 Intro (NA):

Why: #3 for #3. Loved the subtle references to GT1’s intro, and Lenny’s music mixed well with the looks. It was, and still is, a stunning achievement on the PS2.

GT2 Intro (JPN):

Why: Showed the tremendous growth PD achieved by the end of the PS1 generation.

GT1 Intro (NA):

Why: Because it’s the first. No MOTC, because this is the version I was introduced to.

I'm torn between most of them. GT2 (all U.S.), 3, 4, Prologue, 5 and 6. They all put me in the mood to tear around a course as hard as I can, and they were all tastefully done. I prefer the daiki kasho music the most, as well as the epic "Moon Over The Castle."

I was inspired to dig into my old GT4 folder, and I have a small treasure of videos from the pre-release days of that last hurrah on PS2. One or two even have early versions of "What To Believe," and I actually prefer it. I think SONY should offer it as an alternate track in GT7, or even Sport. They bring back such intense feelings of anticipation for the best Gran Turismo to date, and such a HUGE game. I have to watch one more time.

If not all the premium cars are going to be in GT Sport then it would surely suggest that they have had to make cuts to the car count to ensure quality. In other words, it strongly suggest that the standards will be absent. Whether or not they will return in GT7 is a discussion for another day, but I'm hopeful they have gone for quality rather than quantity this time around :)

There is quite a big quality difference within the premium group, mainly in the interior of the cars. Among the highest quality cars is the GT40 Mark I, it seems like it utilizes adaptive tesselation pretty much everywhere. Also, check out its wheels in photomode, the level of detail is amazing!

Hopefully they'll keep most of the cars from GT6, they are the ones I'd miss the most, especially the classics.

For me, there's a tie between GT2 and GT3, both are so awesome that choosing just one it's just..., like between..., even choosing a related comparission is hard...

Wow... I found an audio folder in my GT4 folder too, and it turns out that it has the import versions of many of the songs from the game, and in those original mixes. Apparently, Dakota Star did a few versions of "What To Believe." While my favorite song is Synthetic (versus The Antidote)'s "Moon Over The Castle (Short remix)," I thought I'd share "What To Believe" in a form a bit more like its original form.

Excuse my ignorance but, What's MOTC? :embarrassed:

Abbreviation for "Moon Over The Castle", a cheesetastic instrumental rock song used as the theme to Gran Turismo in Japan. Composed by the Japanese band T-Square. It's appeared in localised versions of GT on occasion (such as in GT4 with the opera version and a couple of in-race remixes, and again in GT6 as bonus music awarded for unlocking the ending sequence and credits).

In the essence of Gran Turismo nostalgia, here's an image of some of the rarer parts of my Gran Turismo collection.

Like many of you I also own all the mainline titles. I'll finally be able to update that part of the collection with Gran Turismo Sport in the coming months to my eager anticipation.

 Great thanks, I do know the track. The acronym just escaped me.
