Only PD needs three years to scan a car for a game, the SEMA winners are evidence of that.
It's worth it though. To me, most GT6 premium cars on PS3 look just as good, if not better than the same models in PCars on PS4.

If memory serves me well the news made it to GTP's front page but was later removed. Jordan stated at the time it was in Gran Turismo fans interest to not discuss the matter further. The way it looked at the time was that some licensing issues weren't completely cleared (how I understood it at least). Hopefull that is not the case anymore...

I'd have to take your word for it but each developer obviously has their priorities in different areas; PD with the cars and SMS with the racing. If only someone could combine these two...
That was the GT Planet news article that Jordan pulled.
But the phrase Gran Turismo just means Grand Touring in English. It doesn't explain why they would use the name "Grand Touring PS4" to describe Assetto Corsa when a) it already had an established name and b) it wasn't being developed for the PS4 at the time.
Also, I'm fairly sure Jordan was talking about the PS4 part in particular. People were taking it as a hint that GT6 would be a PS4 game, which obviously turned out not to be the case. Plus there must have been some pressure from Sony/PD since the pictures were removed.

Im expecting PDs' take on an iracing type game. 100-150 cars mostly race cars, a limited livery editor where we can paint two or three sections of the cars. Sanctioned events, heck even prize money for the top leagues. I just hope we get at least 24 player online private lobeys and leagues, with the proper tools to run them.

Just saying GT sport should have all 350 race cars (approx) if it still has the road cars that is fine to me.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
