The lack of info on GTAcademy makes me think that this year there will be none, if we apply the reasoning behind the no-demo announcement...

I think the hold up or the lack of GT Academy news related to GTSport has more to do with Darren Cox leaving NISMO and a bit of a shake up there since he was a driving force for that program. The no demo hurts the chances too as from a marketing stand point to introduce GTSport I cant see them reverting back to a PS3 based GT6 for new content

I didn't realize there was a difference between the two communities It's very hard to tell.

Well let me sum up my experiencefrom a stream I watched featuring two Women for a Free-2-play game I frequent:


Twitch: Mostly good, nothing out of line and respectful posts
YouTube: Swering, swearing,swearing, "OMG, SHE"S HOT" comments, Swearing, "Show us your boobs"

Sad thing is, I'm not even kidding about that last one.

Based on what I've seen so far, I am pretty underwhelmed. The gameplay footage shows a lot of the old GT6 problems. jacked shadows and low-res track side textures and that weird tint in the lighting, like one wears sunglasses.

And don't get "fooled" by the the photo mode pictures, they pretty much seem to be 360° image bubbles with baked-in lighting. Pretty much the same method I use on my own 3D renderings.

The livery editor locks interesting, but I am sure it will have a big catch, like any new GT feature we got in the last years.

Also being an multiplayer focused game make it wholly uninteresting for me. Without single player I will pass.
