I'm going to like driving the MX-5. Even though I wish it wouldn't have the rear wing.
Honestly - being a guy that HATES the MX-5 and wants it killed with fire, I honestly have to say this time around, I will enjoy driving it as well. This new MX-5 is a lot nicer than its predecessors. Not as feminine, not as boring. It looks fun to drive now, finally!

Nope, I've never seen any racing car with a radio or CD player. :)
And I've never been in a racing car without a clutch. :P

I like GT, I've preordered GTS because I play it for fun and its a decent simcade. But it's always been lacking in the clutch/transmission department (at least they've gotten the engine samples better).

Here is some Gran Turismo 2, car porn. Ford Taurus SHO race car.

It is amazing how far the graphics have come since this.

Gt evolution video

Thoughts?
I created this video took me 2 hours to do this. BTW the video ls music is perfect with the video when it's edited but when I export it the music goes off by like a second and if anyone is kind enough the edit it with perfect music I would very much appreciate that.

One of those videos above showed some good detail of the new GTR's interior when looking right and to the rear. Even off-screen videos show some good lighting on track. The reflection of the sunlight around Brands Hatch is way better than in GT6.

Is there anyone of you who keeps the music playing in the background while racing?

It all depends. In PCars I didn't but that was because it gave no option to turn music on during races and whilst I'm able to play music through USB on PS4, it gets tedious having to jump back and forth between the game and the media.

However, most of the time I leave the music on. In GT6's case I had my own custom soundtrack. But in GT1-GT4 I never turned off the soundtrack. It helped the races go by faster. GT5/GT6 while there were some enjoyable songs I liked driving to, I would have ultimately turned music off if it weren't for custom BGM. Of PD gives me a GT6 type soundtrack, expect me to have it off.

If they give me a GT3 type soundtrack or a soundtrack similar to Le Mans 24 Hours or so, then yes I will gladly leave it on. Music to me adds atmosphere and puts me in my zone. :mischievous:

I found this video in the GT Academy section today.
I know it doesn't say anything about PS4 or GTS but its maybe a small sign that there still might be a beta in the works like they did for 2013 GT6.

They said there is no beta so as to be able to release the full title in 2016.

It depends. If I'm racing against folks online, I'll keep music off so I can focus on driving and anybody on mic. If I'm playing offline though? Chances are I've got music on at some level, at least in GT. I'm less inclined to be hunting for every spare tenth on the track against the AI, so the music keeps me more interested.

My GT6 menu music is all from GT1, which is nice too.

Never in-race or replay, but leave the menus on. Used to quite like that cheesy jazz from GT5 (?)

...recently, someone mentioned that Assetto Corsa didn't have any music and, although I've been playing for 18 months, I never even thought about it until that post:lol:

Is that right, no music at all? Pretty cool that...
Saves them licensing money too I guess.
