I suposse "boost" is active, I remember guys crashing on the first lap of online races in GT 5/6 that end up winning the race thanks to this.

Well brands hatch looks beutifull. What the hell happened to Tokyo!?

Netcode is better, not perfect, but better.

Its a lot more watchable than last time.

Not gonna lie, kinda rooting for Jann right now. Do eeeeTT

Anyone else see some FPS drops?

Yeah I saw the frame drop too, I thought it was the stream but it happened almost every time the camera changed or cars got in front of it so that's a bit concerning.

Could have sworn I saw at least one drop. Maybe my eyes are just messing with me.
It could be the connection. Not sure though. Even high quality streams have jitters occasionally.

How can Gran Turismo in 2016, still not have damage? I think damage is what makes a driving game realistic. Bouncing off of walls at 200 MPH is not realistic at all. Car damage will also make you a better driver, as it will condition you to avoid crashing or bumping into cars.

This has already been answered. Kaz said they have a damage model, but it hasn't been activated at the events.
