No more blurred background in my photos with the new photomode.

I've said it a thousand times, but I couldn't even pretend that by the time November actually comes I won't be exploding with excitement. For me personally there's nothing quite like Gran Turismo - warts and all.

I want to say that – the event in NYC in 2013 got me super-excited for GT6, and look how that turned out – but I'm still concerned about how different GT Sport is to previous GT games. I get excited for the traditional GT approach, though I realize I'm in an ever-shrinking minority with that. If GT Sport has no racing outside of online stuff and a handful of glorified license tests, I'm going to get bored pretty quickly. I did with GT5P, but that was at least minimized by the leaderboards present in the game. Outside of Seasonals and GT Academy, those haven't been present in almost a decade, though.

Don't get me wrong, the Photomode-loving part of me is excited, but I'm not sure how much GT will keep me entertained outside of that. A small car list with seemingly no modifications paired with the smallest track list since GT1 is not the basic content equation I expected three years into PS4's lifecycle.

That's a user's choice of a shallow-depth aperture, not the game's fault.

I'm in the same boat as you, eSports and online don't really bother me in all honesty :(

Personally, I was among those who attached great importance to single player mode.

But since I discovered online mode, I've realized how exciting it was to play with other real players. Single player mode is passed into the background, now.

So, I'm very excited by GT Sport.I will probably never win but I don't care, I just want to have fun and progress.

I am referring about the quality of the backgrund.
It's not lacking quality, its a method used to bring the subject matter to be the center of attention. It's very common in photography. It's not some kind of bug, or problem with the game. On top of that, you had the option to not do that in any of their games too, so you mentioning that is a bit weird.

I am talk about the full realism of the Scapes against the almost realism of previous photomode.

AI is a few lines of code that tries to mimic as humans do. When you have "lag free" online racing against human opponents then AI does not really compare.

But Only if there is a rating system and grading system to ensure that the racing is clean. If GT implement a model similar to iRacing, then racing is easy to organise and worth while.
