Huh. Doesn't look like it on the second clip though, as it 1: only affect the Peugeot, and 2: it happens to the whole car at the same time. But it could be, it just looks very awkward and bad.

Lighting looks great I agree. Car out of place really destroys the immersion though.

If you are referring to the strange flickering on the cars body, i believe there is a overhead sign that is casting a shadow on the car for a second.

After watching it again, you're partially right. The shadow on the track flashes over the car at the right time, but the weird flicker is due to the long, silvery bonnet/windscreen combo reflecting the banner above. No other cars have such a weird angle of bodywork/glass and reflective paintjob.

But yeah, it looks silly anyway, so hey.

That's a fair point actually. It would be less über-reflective without that jetsons space age silver thing going on.

If it had a GT3 inspired bodykit i wouldn't have minded personally, as i've said before some cars in the GR 3 just don't fit.
I've never seen a daylight done so good than in the present GTSport trailers, usually daytime light looks bland to the point of boring both in GT6 or PCars. Still waiting for night time racing images tbh and i'm also weirded out by the present lack thereof

Unfortunately it also looks totally out of place from behind
I really hope they replace the Peugeot VGT and the Golf VGT with something that blends in nicely.
Maybe the Lexus VGT?

To be perfectly honest, I am not really enthralled by the super realistic visuals of Gran Turismo Sport. Its not that they're bad, its not the most important aspect of a game. I wanted a Gran Turismo with the simulation mode and everything else. As someone who's played Gran Turismo since the first version, it's saddening that I may avoid Gran Turismo Sport entirely. I hope Polyphony is listening to it's fans. I hope they are making a Gran Turismo 7 that's like all the previous games. It would be a mistake of epic proportions for Polyphony to just abandon their tried and true model they have used for years. I like being able to choose from a slow, small car like a Toyota Yaris, to a Ferrari. I hope Gran Turismo Sport is not the last game in the series, or I will be very devastated.

It's the sun light being occluded by the banner above. It looks more evident on the Peugeot because of it's super reflexive surface. I don't think that's a bug.

The liquid silver Peugeot doesn't fit the field in my opinion either, but it looks like silly fantasy grids will be what GTS is all about. I think it's equally immersion breaking to have a grid of ten One-77 in a race against an Evo X, Evora and 4C.

I noticed the crowd moves around some. Knowing that this isn't a wish list thread, I would personally want to see a crowd sitting at first, and when the cars come, they rise and begin cheering. That would be pretty cool, because, paired with these graphics, it would look 100% real.

Remember the crowds from GT4? They would step out on track to get a photo. It really felt like there were people by the side of the road even if they weren't the highest quality

Weirdly I did the opposite with my 6 year old brain back then. At one point I got so bored during time trail I actually tried to run the people over, or run "through" them. I was such a maniac 10 years ago...

I was thinking the same about the One-77 against Evo X and MX-5 seen racing together, but I think that's happening for now because of the lack of Gr.N cars currently in the builds. As they reveal/add more cars in I'm sure we will see better balanced fields.
