Oh man PRO mode showcase would be great. Somehow I'm not really convinced it will happen though.

More of the same probably - which honestly at this point would be pushing it but hey it's PD so I learned to keep my expectations low.

You have a TV 4K HDR ? :)

No, probably next year when all the 4k/HDR/whatever else technology matures enough. (and if there's content for it) I'm more hoping for a solid 1080P PRO mode rather than a "not full 4K regular PS4 settings mode" in GTS.

I'm sure the press ain't lying about 4K modes looking great but for me personally I would rather have devs offer turbo charged 1080P modes - just believe the extra power is used better that way.

I expect 3 tracks will be shown at TGS. Suzuka, Nürburgring GP circuit & La Sarthe. Of course other tracks that were shown earlier will be there too..

Stayed up too late so not going to bother, hopefully we get some surprises from Sony, not expecting much from GTSport so hopefully I wake to a new surprise.

Again, it won't do native 4K. Just upscaled 1080p. A $600 gtx1080 will run most games at 4k 60fps, but a PS4 Pro? It's a underclocked R9 290 which isn't that powerful by modern standards. 4k YouTube and Netflix are the only 4k you'll see aside from some indie games that even an Nvidia shield TV can run.

Just watch that Eurogamer video I linked to, then come back to us.

Can we not discuss 4K, resolution, framesrates again..... That has been done to death. Of all the things related to GTS that has got to be the least important thing. For me anyway

Well, it's quite important to GTS I'd say, but as we've nothing firm to go on, you're right, probably best to let that lie for now. (Ludicrous claims like '900p upscaled' aside)

Guys if you would like to play in 4K with proper HDR and wider gamut of colours, you need buy TV with UHD Alliance tag, or the best Sony TV. The cheapest TV with this tag is Samsung SUHD from 7000 series, the best one is Panasonic DX900. Otherwise its better to stick with FHD panel, and play with better details and framerate.

Sony sends a very bad message to racing games fans. FH3 is released this month and Sony doesn't even show GT to keep players on PS4. I'm lucky enough to have both consoles but I don't like how Sony doesn't even try.

That's why next week I'll trade my PS4 for an XboxOne S. Is the first time since Sega MegaDrive/Genesis I'll not own a PlayStation

And besides PD, the only first party racing games developers were Evolution. And they were dismissed.

Most AAA titles will do 1440p with some going even higher like Horizon Zero Dawn which will render at 3200x1800.

Also a friendly reminder don't spread misinformation - it's against the AUP. ;)

As is posting off-topic so I won't continue here.

Hate to say I told you so.... I'm still betting on the game going through big changes and we'll not hear any news for several months, then a big re-reveal with the game having different content and maybe a new name.

Yeah, something drastic is going on for sure.

What a massive fail. Wouldn't be surprised if PD get the Evolution treatment, when (if) this eventually releases.

No GTS in conference. Fix.

But why would they not even vaguely mention it in a fairly lengthy conference, even though it was listed as one of their main showcase games?

Something odd going on here.
