Let me take care of this.Someone send FB page the podcast link and say -"Hey this guy said GTS won't release 2016!!!" - let's see what happens.
Oh so just about as baseless as the average speculation you find on this forum.
Read @TurismoBad's post. We're somewhat trying to make fun of it.What are you guys actually hoping to get out of a Facebook conversation?
I did and I still don't get it.Read @TurismoBad's post. We're somewhat trying to make fun of it.
Me tooI doubt anything will come of it but it's still funny.
I'm 50/50 on it. I just hope it's not real though.Wait, so we're actually believing some random French journalists word that GTS is delayed?
They'll believe the sky is falling if the source is obscure enough.Wait, so we're actually believing some random French journalists word that GTS is delayed?
I think it's more that we believe it because it's PD.Wait, so we're actually believing some random French journalists word that GTS is delayed?
Sony/Gran Turismo Facebook/Pit Stop Blog/Gran Turismo official site.
You should trust only those sites.
They'll believe the sky is falling if the source is obscure enough.
But they haven't given an accurate release date for a game in over 10 years. What I heard was that he believes GTS isn't happening this year, which sounds alot like speculation. There's no telling who's right here until Sony and PD announce something so right now it's best to take it with a grain of salt instead of whatever all this was.
I can confirm that he says exactly that, but I just can't believe it oOHe says:
- things should happen in March, won't happen
- Release GT Sport this year looks complicated
- they have lots of work to do on GT from what he has seen
- Sony would like to release before end of the year
- Journalist doesn't even have trust in that
I have no idea how credible this is!
In a decade (a little over, but whatever) they've released 3 major console games (4, 5 and 6) and 1 PSP game. It's hardly enough of a sample to say they're never right...But they haven't given an accurate release date for a game in over 10 years.
Why would you even care what they say, if they're never right?
Only 2 of those games were officially delayed atleast once.In a decade (a little over, but whatever) they've released 3 major console games (4, 5 and 6) and 1 PSP game. It's hardly enough of a sample to say they're never right...

All but GT6 were. GT3's delays were infamous as well at the time. GT6 does skew the point somewhat, because it is the most recent release so perhaps they have learned their lessen (or Sony put their foot down), but PD didn't earn the reputation CSLACR is referring to just with GT5.Only 2 of those games were officially delayed atleast once.

According to Cyril Drevet (the French journalist in this tweet ,something was supposed to happened in March but finally no.
In fact Poly is very late on its schedule and having the beta for this year would be already something good.

Well I wasn't specifically referring to just GT5, but also GT4. That's interesting, I never knew about the GT3 delay. All but GT6 were. GT3's delays were infamous as well at the time.
