Oh, a possible delay? How unsurprising. Someone bring me some more popcorn for the inevitable meltdown.

I think the following words are applicable here:

"Nothing changes cos it's all the same
The world you get's the one you give away
It all just happens again
Way down the line."

By which I mean that Polyphony are doomed to an endless cycle of delays.

Bonus points for anyone who can guess the song and the game it was featured in.

Wait, so we're actually believing some random French journalists word that GTS is delayed?
I think it's more that we believe it because it's PD.
Quite frankly, my word that they're delaying is as good as Kaz's word that they're going to release on any date he ever says.

Actually no, scratch that. My word when I'm guessing is better than a full fledged release date from PD, because they're always wrong. My guesses at least have a chance of being right.

Sony/Gran Turismo Facebook/Pit Stop Blog/Gran Turismo official site.

You should trust only those sites.

99% trust, surely.

They'll believe the sky is falling if the source is obscure enough.

I'm just going to point out that this is a source "obscure" enough to be invited to PD's office.

How quick people are to paint him as unknowing, simply because it's not what they want to hear.

What I heard was that he believes GTS isn't happening this year, which sounds alot like speculation. There's no telling who's right here until Sony and PD announce something so right now it's best to take it with a grain of salt instead of whatever all this was.

But they haven't given an accurate release date for a game in over 10 years.
Why would you even care what they say, if they're never right?

So I'll just assume that because GT5 and GT4 were delayed in the last decade or so, every PD game will be delayed always.

He says:

- things should happen in March, won't happen
- Release GT Sport this year looks complicated
- they have lots of work to do on GT from what he has seen
- Sony would like to release before end of the year
- Journalist doesn't even have trust in that

I have no idea how credible this is!
I can confirm that he says exactly that, but I just can't believe it oO

In a decade (a little over, but whatever) they've released 3 major console games (4, 5 and 6) and 1 PSP game. It's hardly enough of a sample to say they're never right...

Only 2 of those games were officially delayed atleast once.

All but GT6 were. GT3's delays were infamous as well at the time. GT6 does skew the point somewhat, because it is the most recent release so perhaps they have learned their lessen (or Sony put their foot down), but PD didn't earn the reputation CSLACR is referring to just with GT5.

As someone who joined GTP during the GT4 hype, I definitely remember the many times that was delayed.

Well I wasn't specifically referring to just GT5, but also GT4. That's interesting, I never knew about the GT3 delay.
