Can't recognize a car behind Alfa and Megane

My immediate thought was Chevy SS.

Must be multi-class racing. What are PD doing with the classes? Stingray vs Megane vs SLS vs Scirocco? Still no answers.

The negativity here is mindblowing.

A few days back, people complained about not seeing any night racing, no new content (cars or tracks) and the boring looking Tokyo... now that we got some of that, no one cares?

It's just impressive how a 50 sec trailer means that the only content in game is what is presented in it. Hey, I'll throw more fuel to the fire, for the first time the trailer isn't focused on Scapes. What about some positivity? Jesus, funerals are more positive than this.

Don't expect this before holiday 2017, car list is becoming impressive and probably the Scirocco and Megane have custom liveries so it does look decent-ish.

No weather and no damage though?

I bet PD don't even know, they're just showing everything they have.

But it seems the dream of career mode is dead... :(
I've essentially given up about offline play. I'd still like to know basic stuff about how PD expect the game to play out.

My brain is frying trying to figure out what they are doing with the game. Just tell us, "different classes are like real racing. No need to finish the game. Just keep racing in the class that best suits your skill. If all you want to do is get a licence to race Gr.4, race Gr.4. Race Gr.4 as long as you wish in your virtual 'career'."

Zero reaction from the crowd as well. Unsurprising really, no big wow moments and the headings don't even apply to base PS4. With the rest of the games covered it's going to be easily forgotten and overlooked. They didn't mention it in the wrap up even.

This isn't some indie game or debut title, it's their biggest selling franchise. Nobody but the die hard fans seem to care about it.

Ultimately, aside from showing anything really, really new, the biggest problem, to me at least, with this trailer is that it's incredibly boring.

Seriously, look at the vibe GT3 and GT4 gave when the trailers were released... the music, the racing, etc. That's nowhere to be found in any of the GTS trailers that have come out yet. It just looks like a boring game.

Where did you see the night racing? I just saw a trailer, where they show PitStop in the night ... I'm not saying this "night run"! Where is the gameplay, in the view of the cockpit at night?
For me, it's just a trailer .. again. With nothing really new, except a better graphisme, especialy on the PS4 Pro for the 4KTV...

Maybe because it's been 12+ months since the announcement and we barely have a damn clue what this game is even about!? :boggled::banghead:

And can we please save the gif overload for the screenshots/video thread?

Those trailers are always cinematic full of action, motion blur, filters etc.
They dont represent the dull gameplay at all. So I am not excited at all. PD always been great at doing trailers the actual gameplay has nothing to do with it though.
I wanna see actual gameplay and no polished cinematic trailers...

Pretty good stuff they showed us, but I'm alsa kinda surprised with the whole reaction goes in this forums. I'm not going to debate over the argument and opinions here (since it is going to be very very long). The trailer might give a little sense of progress (even though they showed us night racing in this trailer, finally), but the big cake is how the gamplay looks like on the newer build. Again, it mean we might see some reasonable differences with the same way as before, random off-screen footage.

Thank you! I can't be the only one whi has seen it. Since the ps3 era, this vibe has vanished. I miss my industrial/rock soundtrack.

I was right, they showed the same tracks...
