Those trailers are always cinematic full of action, motion blur, filters etc.
They dont represent the dull gameplay at all. So I am not excited at all. PD always been great at doing trailers the actual gameplay has nothing to do with it though.
I wanna see actual gameplay and no polished cinematic trailers...
Well, actually, actual off-screen gameplay is almost everything we saw for few last months and it doesn't look dull.

Release Date: No
Dynamic Weather: No
Transition Day/night races: No
B-Spec: No
Course Maker: No
Single Player Campaign: very poor...
Car List: about 20% of the previous games
Tracks: Less tracks than the previous games...

Conclusion:
When he said, that this game are more easy the develop on PS4 against PS3, you see the crop they made on the game... The GT6 was release on december 2013... its three years.... its going for 4 years of developing... with a game with half of content.... no comments...

its said to see this game falling and nobody on sony takes care about....

Zero reaction from the crowd as well. Unsurprising really, no big wow moments and the headings don't even apply to base PS4. With the rest of the games covered it's going to be easily forgotten and overlooked. They didn't mention it in the wrap up even.

This isn't some indie game or debut title, it's their biggest selling franchise. Nobody but the die hard fans seem to care about it.

I noticed that too. Driveclub Bikes had the same ovation

Yes they showed night but only with a pretty scene, not how it will actually be like to race in night. Yes Tokyo looked better but that is the least I expected. They showed half a dozen new cars but nothing special, still just modern cars in the same vein as the rest. No new tracks at all, no damage, no weather, no modifications, no hints of any new or advanced GAMEPLAY features at all.

The trailer was just about eye candy once again but we already know it looks great.

Well to me it looks dull. I also played the game on Essen Motorshow last Monday. It was nothing which impressed me alot.

Ultimately, aside from showing anything really, really new, the biggest problem, to me at least, with this trailer is that it's incredibly boring.

Seriously, look at the vibe GT3 and GT4 gave when the trailers were released... the music, the racing, etc. That's nowhere to be found in any of the GTS trailers that have come out yet. It just looks like a boring game.

This is one of the few things I wouldn't blame on GT. It seems that marketing in general has took a huge shift, and for me personally it was way better back then.

Just take the GT3 trailer I quoted. An awesome headbanging driving song from Feeder quite literally drives the trailer, loads of fast cuts and a generally exciting feel. Everything nowadays feels like it's trying to be too "clean" with orchestras and a kind of indie feel, going for subtlety over excitement.

Using Forza as a comparison (as I always do, it just particularly works here), look at Forza 1's 2004 reveal:

Very mechanical (the OG Xbox in general felt like this, like the robotic look of the dashboard) and punchy feeling, it's dramatic and badass. Quite similar to that 2001 GT3 trailer.

Forza 6, 11 years later:

Slow piano to start, everything for some reason has to be subtle and quiet. Even when the song kicks in it's nowhere near as driving as the Feeder song for GT3 or the Forza 1 song.

Where's the trailer for what a typical race room looks like?
Take us from start of game, to choosing a car, choosing livery and custom design, entering a room with same skilled players. What does it look like when the race is finished?
Show us what it looks like picking a track or voting for a track or setting up a 5 track online race series.
How many laps?
Pit stop mistakes. Something. Anything about game play.

What does this even mean?

Looking from some new content (new cars, polished graphics, night racing, etc) are we going to have the newer "Prototype Movie" like they showed us in E3? It consists of some pretty good direct gameplay footage, so perhaps there's chance we can see the latest "Prototype Movie" with the release of new trailer  Or.... maybe not....

Maybe because it's been 12+ months since the announcement and we barely have a damn clue what this game is even about!? :boggled::banghead:

And can we please save the gif overload for the screenshots/video thread?

Really, you don't know what the game is about? Was there any trailer in this event that showed details of their respective campaigns and features? Because we already got trailers for that with GTS. It's just a trailer, to catch peoples attention, nothing more.

The only problem that I see with it, is the lack of a release date, apart from it, it's a nice trailer with more shots of the various classes, instead of the previous 2 trailers that were heavily focused on Scapes.

See, positive thinking, it's not that hard. Assuming that something won't be in the game just because it isn't in the trailer is shocking to me.

Anyway, for the new 2 minute trailer: I saw a V12 Vantage there!

I'm not expecting everything to be condensed into a 2 minute trailer because that would be absurd! It's just the fact that there hasn't been much real info given about the game over those 12+ months. That's what I'm disappointed about.

Isn't there going to be a conference or panel or something later? Maybe then we will see new info. Whoever gets a chance to interview PD/Kaz, should just make the right questions now. In the past we had the same questions asked over and over.
