Good point, as they'd very quickly run out of cars

As far as other prizes are concerned though, credits are the most obvious, how much each event gives you is the question i.e. do we need millions of credits per event.

One thing they could give out, are various special decals for the livery editor, or special packs, or even full liveries all together maybe.

Seasonal Events should not be dropped in GT Sport due to the lack of prize cars, if you will. I really enjoyed them in GT5 and 6 because each provided a unique challenge. Definitely bring back the time and drift trials, but also include unique online races that contain a particular car (or cars) where large cash prizes will be handed out - but not stupid amounts like $500,000, more like $100,000 maximum for the winning driver. They won't be typical "Sport Mode" races.

Hey GTP guys, @Brend @SlipZtrEm etc, I'm not sure whether this is just me, but it's been ten days of the beta now, with tonnes of streams and YouTube clips with lots of new info, and yet there are no recent news items on the GTP homepage.

If I was a 'casual', I'd hear about a new gran turismo, look on GTP and it would seem like you guys are basically ignoring it.

What's the deal here, out of interest?

Yep, it will be interesting to see what they do.

One would hope that they turn more to the competition side. Proper leaderboards. Interesting and unique challenges.

Make the seasonals actually fun for their own sake instead of simply something new to grind for more stuff you don't need.

Driver rating isn't affected ofline only while in sport mode.

Good point.

Will they even fit in at all given the current crop of cars we know of in GTS. Especially given how last years winner was that custom '51 Ford Coupe which definitely doesn't fit with all the modern metal we have at the moment. You'd need a separate group to fit it in would you not?

Best guess would be they skip GTS and would add the SEMA cars in the next full installment, but that's just my 2 cents.

I had a feeling cars from SEMA, premiums from GT5/6 would be likely available to use for offline/online non Sport mode. I can't see why PD would just remove these premium cars-like the new addition in GT6 ( Countach,Cizeta, Shelby Daytona, Dino, Trans Am, Red Devil, Delta Wing, Quattro S1, etc ), they must have been modeled with future release in mind ( from the amount of details they have compared to GT5 premiums ). I think this is also why PD said the cars would reach 500, that number would fit nicely including GT5/6 premiums ( SEMA and VGT cars without Sport Gr treatment ) There's also a chance cars that were halfway upgraded in GT6 ( Yellowbird, AE86, etc ) might be in GTS as well.

I think Kaz would not leave the Skylines in the dust, they were always in every GT so far, and Kaz loves Skylines Would love to see NISMO cars in GTS ( 400R, R34 Z tune, 260R, R35, Z34, various S/R/Z tunes from Z33, S15 )

And I cant't believe there's only one Evo X in GTS, Kaz had been presenting Evos well in GT ( at least the Evos from all gen were in previous GT ) Here's hoping GTS will have all of them from GSR to Evo X.
