Thanks @DaBomb330 for the vids man.

While the GT sounds are improving significantly, there's still things I think they can add in addition to the exhaust crackle etc like off throttle burble and variations in the turbo blow off noises. Shouldn't be too difficult I rate.
What surprises me a bit is the absence or (barely) any sound of the boxer engine of the Subaru WRX sti type S while in you can hear it.

The Type S I can understand due in part to the manifold and turbo setup on the newer JDM Imprezas. The sound is actually correct.

The GR4 however you can argue that the turbo is different so will be the manifold perhaps hence the traditional rumble noise.

Spot on!!

Guess I know the right person to contact when I got some questions about subarus :P
Thanks for the info and if you do not mind I would like to see a real life comparison of the type S since I did not find one where you can hear the sound.

Maybe the through aas title should change to

...

Will you buy GTS after seeing or playing the beta?

...Oh, so that's what you meant. Dang auto correct.

But this is a general discussion thread, so I don't see the point in changing the title. Instead, rejig the pole and include that option in there.

Wow, the sounds in the replay are just...... Wow.

Why the chase cam doesn't sound like this is beyond me.

The car just needs subtle sounds like the judder in the engine note as it changes gears (Because flappy paddle race greabox) and the environment just needs ambient noise like birds and trees making noise as they sway in the wind then it will be 👍👍👍

Yeah, I just meant the poll.

Android keyboard has constant updates for this cheap phone. Pitiful.

Why does everyone insist on using the hardest compound tire on race cars? You guys are playing 3 lap races. What gives?

Wondered that too, it's not like the beta had tyre wear on as on option or even a visual of tyre wear unless the soft option isn't selectable!?

Random thought.

Seasonals.
They seem to be a staple for the game these days.
I'm sure I've seen images of time trials in Sport mode, so Ive been lumping them there, in the same way I lump GT6's Quickmatch events there, be that right or wrong.
But I've been thinking about it some more.
I could possibly see drift events in Sport mode, but single player races against AI seems unlikely.

So I wonder if we'll see Seasonals introduced in their own right with a section to themselves, or if they will go the way of the dodo?

I'd imagine we'd still get seasonal events, or though how they would turn out I don't know. My guess would be that with the focus of GTS being the way it is (i.e. big focus online), seasonal events would be more extensive this time around perhaps, maybe with their own dedicated section as you say.

I'd bet we'd still get the typical time trial style event, and general events dedicated to a certain class of car, be just interesting to see how it'd turn out.

One thing I thought of is that they don't have 1200 cars to pick a few out as prizes any more.
Not that they need to give cars away as prizes though I guess.
But do we actually need a steady supply of Credits either?

Yep, it will be interesting to see what they do.

Good point, as they'd very quickly run out of cars

As far as other prizes are concerned though, credits are the most obvious, how much each event gives you is the question i.e. do we need millions of credits per event.

One thing they could give out, are various special decals for the livery editor, or special packs, or even full liveries all together maybe.
