Just one thing, I want to thank Polyphony Digital for the specially created liveries in Nostalgic 1979 (GT League event). So classic, good ones, perfect atmospher.
That Beetle replica you should enter into the Livery Competition, it looks fabulous!

I had the decals for this car prepped before the update, but went out of town, and got beat yet again to another livery. Even though there's a bunch of these already, I did it anyway.

Managed to find a template of sorts of the side stripe, and used it to redraw it, so if nothing else, I know that accurate.

Did this a few days ago, as a shout out to my Tuna brothers...

If you don't mind feedback:

According to art. 60.1, att 5.8.2 of the 2018 IMSA SPORTING REGULATIONS & SERIES SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS:
"GT Le Mans and GT Daytona, the Number panel background, outside rear wing end plates, mirrors [...] must be fully covered in the class
designation color."

Att 5.14.7. Tire Decals:
  • A. Decals in all positions.
  • B. One (1) decal immediately above each wheel well on centerline of wheel.
  • C. One (1) decal must be placed on a vertical surface of the front fascia along the centerline.
  • D. Continental Tires decals must be of contrasting color.

Att 5.14.9. Fuel Supplier: (VP Racing Fuels)
  • B. One (1) on each side, rear of centerline.

Att 5.14.8. Oil Supplier: (MOTUL or TOTAL)
  • B. One (1) on each side, forward of centerline.

You are also missing the rear number (att 5.14.2), but it's more GT Sport friendly without it.

It's a livery in a video game. It doesn't really mean anything. Stop picking it apart like it's a court case.

Do you guys ever felt "conflicted" about what to create?

Hours ago, i was creating a livery for the MINI. Just a little British Green with a silver top. You know... something real and simple.
And then, i come to this thread only to see those AWESOME MINIs you guys have created.

"MINI racing livery sounds cool" , i thought. Ok, but WHAT type? Replicas? Rally? My own original creation?
As i become even more confused, i saw a beautiful MINI on the game with GT's logos. "Now that looks cool af". It was basically a MINI made by PD, to race in the official Nations Cup/Manufacturer Series.

Now here i am, lost in my thoughts. Every time something like this happens.

In a moment, i want to take those old cars and recreate real liveries. In a second after, i want to make my own livery. Then, again, i want to delete everything and make the car be original as possible!

Regarding the livery from the other day that I was displeased with...

It's now fully logo'd and developed to the point where I'm satisfied. Now all the black parts have this subtle triangular pattern that's one shade lighter than the base black (looks really cool in motion). The really bad mustard yellow blotches on the rear engine cover were also adjusted and look much cleaner.

The main sponsor I chose because the colours matched the paint and not the other way around. That's not the way I roll usually, but that's how it went down this time.

That Opera S2000 is something I need in my life  amazing work!

@zeptrans the Delta liveries are awesome, but the Integrale isn't old enough for a black background Italian plate, especially the Collezione, which is one of the last ones made (dating 1992-1993 iirc). :)

Some constructive criticism is always welcome, better than just snickering to oneself about the other person's flaws in their creations. Yes I noticed that when I was doing the O'Gara Lamborghini, but I didn't know that they were regulatory. I assumed that they were part of the design itself, and that they had chosen Continental as a tyre supplier. But thanks anyway. 👍

Update: I'll be re-uploading that Ferrari one with Blancpain insignia later tonight, because I feel that too much green is going to spoil the look.
