Definitely going to need a Flourescent paint chip. The HSV picker just can’t do bright colors like this. Off the top of my head something like Y5, G1, or G2 Fluorescent should be good.

First time I've created a livery, and it took me over 2 months of (intermittent) work, but I'm pleased with the product.

The desire to create a livery based on the Vantage N430 road car, in spite of many already existing online, is that none were satisfactory enough for me. Most of the existing ones didn't change their wheels to the most similar one in the game and just stuck with the OEM wheels, some had applied the yellow 'lipstick' too thickly, and some didn't even bother to apply a black decal to the grille to make it look like the original. Even the closest one had the wheels a size too large. So I decided to go ahead and make my own version.

One of the more special characteristics of this livery is that it was made completely out of the primitive shapes provided in the game, including the grille surrounds, which was also why it took me 9 saves over the 2 months to complete it, because I had to pick the right shape to create the contour, before stretching, tilting, and placing it in the right place. And between these 3 steps I had to make a comparison between it and the real car from different angles to check if the placement is 100% identical before proceeding with the next shape! Toughest part of the work has got to be the diffuser and the grille surrounds, with the inner surfaces of the latter particularly difficult to cover.

Since my television does not support HDR, I won't be able to tell if they are the correct shade even after exporting the photos (which I assume are also non-HDR) to my computer. So if you think the colour is of the wrong shade, please tell me and give me the new colour codes and I will upload another version with the new colours. You can also do that if you want another version with a different colour combination, just remember to give me the colour code and some time. Or maybe a lot. :scared:

Sorry for all that useless ado, here is the link to the livery:

Credits to michaelkalininfl for the livery on the Vantage Gr. 4, which can be downloaded here: https://www.gran-turismo.com/jp/gts...arLivery/livery/1471117/1/8430747374449591840

(Just a slight aside: the individual photos somehow had this chrome window trim despite there actually being a black decal placed on them in the livery editor, but it somehow disappeared when I was taking the group photos, so I didn't mind it and just went on without taking the individual photos again. Sorry if it bothers you.)

Felt like i needed to give out a correction.

When i asked how to achieve the color requested above, i actually meant as in how to pull it off as a secondary color ( Trying to put the color on the temporary gray colored stripes )

In this case, I would paint the body of the car one of the Fluorescent chips I mentioned, and the white and black parts should be made with decals.

Seems like you could pull this off without too much effort.

I decided to do a tribute to one of my favourite liveries and racing manufacturers; Bentley, I think it turned out pretty well, based it off the 2019 24hr of Spa GT3 car. I decided to go with a GR2 car over a GT3 one because I don’t think the crop of now old GT3 cars in GTSport actually look aggressive enough to the 2019 spec actual GT3 car. I also think this Lexus does a good(ish) job of looking similar... maybe!

Unfortunately i do not own any of the color chips mentioned above

Do you have anything close to it? The hue of paint can be altered by using a transparent decal placed over top, and then changing its color. This will still be significantly brighter than using the HSV.

Im not aware of any decals that feature the color

No mate, check it out.

Say for example you have a Fluorescent yellow that isn’t green enough. You can put this decal over the entire body:

https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gts...llery/decal/decal/3900136/4900498116243883536

and then tinker with its HSV value say green/100/100

Since it’s transparent the paint will show through. This is one of my most used decals. It can also make things darker / lighter.

I found these two decals and i wanted your input on them.

First decal:

I think that looks just fine, and it’s obvious that you’re going for the Brawn color scheme. I approve of that.

As an aside, the paint chip situation is so dumb, LE being a cornerstone of this game yet all the paints are locked behind a time wall. PD needs to make them all available for everyone
