Was trying a few things for the LEC #48 La Festa Cavallino but as I said in the thread, it's too much a replica and not enough a Ferrari!

So I'll probably finish them but they won't be my entry.

SF90 Giallo Modena.
No it's not a Jordan! :D

SF90 Carbon

The NOT Jordan would work better with black wheels.

Love the carbon version.

With the lack of good Gazoo racing Lexus' as they either don't work in sport mode or are a bit lacking/not very good so I've come up with these, hope you enjoy. Also thanks to @NBDESIGNZ for some of the decals.

I have a question I fear I know the answer to

I'm currently making a livery that has a pattern on it. I'd like to put sponsors over it, but they won't show up very against the pattern because some of them will be effectively plain text, white with no outline on a blue background. I'd like to put a slightly larger coloured decal underneath them so the outline isn't lost, like this:

(Assume it's a blue box rather than a white one around the Bridgestone wordmark)

While there's no problem with this, I'd also like to use a real paint colour on the car rather than a custom one. Is it possible to still have that base colour block shape with a non-custom paint in this way? Or would I have to place the red/white ones in a certain order to leave the space around any sponsor decals?

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean but I try to help :

1/ If I want a decal to appear correctly on a colored background / pattern I duplicate it to make a shadow (black, white or whatever suits the situation) placing the shadow a little bit on the bottom right for example. You can also duplicate the shadow to put it on the upper left if needed.

2/ The only way (or easiest at least) to have a decal the exact same color as the paint is to use the classic paint (no pearl nor metallic) and brilliant (shiny?) decals. This way, paint and decals will be exactly the same.

I don't know if I answered the question but hopefully it'll help a little bit. :D

Use a black or white version of the sponsor as a background and then use "duplicate" for the original, in a smaller size or slightly offset, while reverting to the original colour.
