Gran Turismo Sport Livery Thread and Discussion! (Read Original Post!)

Now moving to 2012 Super GT, here's one of the most creative liveries ever made, yet really hard to replicate due to its asymmetrical sides. Hope y'all like it!

Got my very first warning from Sony, that I have uploaded something they will not tolerate.
My decal was deleted.

View attachment 901247 And that, ladies and gentleman, is how you fight Corona. Just delete it  Come on Sony, you were cool once.

I suspected that may happen, unfortunately it's a sensitive subject at the moment and there have been a few "questionable" decals relating to the virus so I think a blanket approach has been taken that anything relating to this is not to be allowed in game at the moment.

You meant well of course but seems to be the way things are just now as people are reacting a lot to this in good and bad ways...

How did you do those SKYACTIV stripes?!?

I NEED THOSE!!
Made them myself. Someone made the side stripes that meet the 'S' in 'Skyactiv'(like the default livery), but I couldn't get the right angle and camera positioning. So, made my own. Used a combination of triangles, tapered stripes, big curves and thin strips of rectangle.

The bonnet is a combination of these half curves. Squares for the stripes. Also, the color I chose.

Vitaphone Citroen Racing

Finally finished my take on the Vitaphone Racing scheme, as most famously applied to the Maserati MC12s that conquered the FIA GT Championship in the mid-to-late 2000s. At the suggestion of @Theace37 and @ringkurier, I decided to add custom Sport Mode-compatible numberboards in place of the default ones, using Blancpain-style numerals and @daan's GT World Challenge Europe board. Since Vitaphone Racing primarily contested the FIA GT Championship and the replacement GT1 Championship in 2010, it felt like a logical step to use the latter and imagine how the livery would look if it was still used today.

Love this! The Blancpain series is perfect for this livery. Great work

Big Bertha SLS GT4

Got this one 2 days ago from the DWG and was not disappointed. Next to the Jag it has chances to become my new weapon of choice in the Group 4. The whole driving experience felt so planted, powerful and fat, that I nicknamed it after 2 minutes behind the wheel "Big Bertha", So... i wrote this onto it and while I had the chalk already in my hands I added a few more words:

So a bit of a noob question, but does anyone know how to pull off the blue color seen in the Calsonic livery in Super GT?

Have the image at hand and play around with the colour select tool until you find something that matches.

A pair of BMS Scuderia Italia Aston Martin DBR9s both are sport mode compatible and should be 100% accurate, enjoy.

Links to come when the servers are back up working fully.

Great work on these! 👍
