Gran Turismo Sport Livery Thread and Discussion! (Read Original Post!)

Here are my most recent creations.
The two Aston Martin's and the BMW are real Blancpain Liveries while the Alfa's are DTM liveries imposed on the 4C and the Honda NSX being the 8 Hour of California livery

I checked the discover page right after I finished and I think there's at least two or three other people who've had the same idea as me, but here's my go.

'67 Silk Cut Jaguar XJ13:

I did my best to use era-accurate decals, I believe everything I saw in the discover area was using 1988 or modern-era brand logos, so I think that makes my creation stand apart a little bit.

I've been wanting to post here for a while but I just haven't had the time to deal with the export process (I hope that gets fixed/streamlined in an update soon). I have a fair amount of stuff I've made from launch day up till now, I think I'll slowly post it every couple days now that I've exported most of what I've got.

Just saw your work today and it is great! :drool: :bowdown: Really suits the car since you give attention for such accurate livery design era. Also, darker colour fits with the car as well. The original livery scheme is simply too bright and contrast for such subtle and smooth curves of XJ13 which in my opinion would look best in darker shade of paint/liveries. Good work. 👍 :cheers:

This is a throwback to the 7-Eleven Citgo Mustang that was built by Roush and ran in IMSA in the mid to late 80's. I have a soft spot for 80's and 90's liveries, I'm a big believer in simpler is almost always better.

Some of you may recognize this scheme. It was used in various different series in the US during that time period from the mid to late 80's. Dragsters, NASCAR, IMSA, you name it. Here is the car in particular that I was using for reference and an old article that was written about it.

Bit of a longer post than I usually make!

...first off after some pretty good feedback and looking over it, I updated my 919;

Much happier with it now and like how the team name integrates with the zebra print.

Then I picked up the McLaren F1 and thought it was high-time for a Blade Runner inspired livery, including a fake number plate;

Then took some fancy pictures of some older liveries that I really am very happy with, my Kaneda and Tetsuo bike interpretations from Akira, racing through Tokyo;

And my favourite livery, my Polaroid Team Saxton Audi R8 GTE;

Some things I worked on during this week:

NSX Gr.4
I love black and white schemes, they work so well and you can stay really classy with them.

458 Italia GT3
This one I got some inspirations on the WEC racing stripes and added a bit of a brazilian touch to them. The white part was supposed to work another way, but I came with a quick fix to it and decided that the back end should be black. This one I'm really proud of, but still not 100% finished. I'm definitely changing some of the sponsors placement on it.
