If they'll add it, then I feel like they would also add 911 GT1 and than R390 or GT-one with it in one update. I would be also interested to see where would these cars race, probably in Gr2.

Thanks! I'd be all for that, I like all of the other cars you mentioned too! I love that class of cars from that time period. Great looks, sound and speed. The CLK-LM is still my favorite though!

Yeah, I mentioned in another thread about the Super Taikyu Spoon Sports S2000. When I initially saw that event pic in GT4, I thought that version was in. Unfortunately, not.
Eventually I imagine but most likely in GT7 rather than GT Sport.
Here’s a thought, why didn’t PD add the McLaren F1 GTR to Group 2 rather than Group 3? Group 2 seems like a natural category for GT1 era LM prototypes.

Yeah, I mentioned in another thread about the Super Taikyu Spoon Sports S2000. When I initially saw that event pic in GT4, I thought that version was in. Unfortunately, not.
Not to be silly, seriously. Off the top of my head: The Mercedes wagon, a few TVRs, MX-5s, Z8, Z3(?), Prowler, Chevy SST(can't remember if the top came down in the game), Pontiac Solstice, '60(?) Here’s a thought, why didn’t PD add the McLaren F1 GTR to Group 2 rather than Group 3? Group 2 seems like a natural category for GT1 era LM prototypes.
Is it fair to assume that GT1 era Le Man racers such as the Toyota GT One and Nissan R390 would be added to Group 3 then? Didn’t realise they were that “slow” when compared with Group 2 GT500 vehicles.
Does anyone else think that Laguna Seca was the final update for GT Sport? I don’t recall anytime when the game was updated with a track & its circuit experience at the same time. Obviously I would not like this to be the case but it has to end at some point.

A possibility. Guess we’ll find out at the end of the month. I’m about ready for GT7 now and considering it’s meant to be a launch title for the PS5 it wouldn’t surprise me if PD are working overtime to get it ready on time.

Kazunori said he thought that the idea of withholding cars back for new releases of major products didn't make much sense, that he believed they should come out as they are ready.
“I think nowadays we are no longer in the era where you hold on to the new cars and tracks that you create for the next title, and you save it all for your release. I don’t think we work that way any more. Now it is sort of like being on Spotify or the iTunes Store; I think it is more natural to have new additional cars and tracks added to the store as they are ready to go.”
Considering the addition of new to the series, highly requested cars, I think they may just keep the train of content coming.

I really hope this is the way of things now then. Judging by the post launch support of GT Sport he’s sticking to this philosophy.
I do expect a massive batch of new Group 3 and Group 4 content with GT7 though. In the meantime I anticipate more road car and Group X additions (historic racers etc) for GT Sport.

I feel like he's sticking to the philosophy. He's reducing the number of cars per month because they're obviously already working on some other stuff for GT7.
I think we will see very few new Gr4 and Gr3 cars come to GT Sport because of the need for keeping the classes balanced for FIA competitions.
Ideally, I'd like to see new Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars specifically insofar that additional manufacturers could become eligible for the manufacturers series, especially with that race at the 2019 World Tour in Tokyo that featured Suzuki and Daihatsu. I'd like to see other groups be part of the manufacturers series, perhaps like Gr.1, but I think that sort of thing would only come in the next title. Same thing likely would apply for potential new groups altogether, such as groups for historic grand tourers and prototypes.
(EDIT: And I forgot about the Lamborghini VGT that we dont have yet!)
And the GR.3 Mazda when it's ready.
I think some content will continue to be added throughout 2020, because of the continuing FIA events and the need to keep up interest in these, and in the game, with new content. Although I think cars will be 4 per month max, as now.
Tracks, hard to tell but I think new tracks will be limited to a few (probably for introduction/marketing at FIA World Tour events only), but this will be interspersed with more rain tracks I think as these seem relatively quick to complete.
GT6 recommended race car categories, cars by section and hot cars. Where can I find the lists? From what I saw many of them are done
GT5 had possible random starter cars as gift. ESPECIALLY Hondas, NC, Cooper mk2 are possible.

I feel like he's sticking to the philosophy. He's reducing the number of cars per month because they're obviously already working on some other stuff for GT7.
I think we will see very few new Gr4 and Gr3 cars come to GT Sport because of the need for keeping the classes balanced for FIA competitions.
Plus the Gr.4 Supra that came out November AND December.
Due some unfortunate circumstances this past weekend, I had to make a trip to Sydney and a western suburb named Penrith. A block away from my final destination in Penrith, was an FTO. Which model? Not sure. It did have the high level rear wing, which may be the Aero model. Anyway, the most intriguing thing is, it had a full on Lightning McQueen wrap!
I've had some logical feelings(like many here) about what could come next. An FTO seems very logical. It's one of those "original" Gran Turismo cars that have been in the game throughout the franchise. It's an out of the ordinary machine. Another thing is, the destination I was gong to, I had to pick up some items I had in storage. Totally forgot I had this in one of my containers(bought it 2016, while waiting for "GT7"):
If this year is our last year for updates, the recent N200 cars like the Silvia and S2000, shine a little hope on the continued return of a classic GT car list.
