Not the best, but not the worst. Looking to get into the top 100 for the next season.

Being wrapped up by 9:30pm at the latest is way too early for me to take part. Holding off getting a Plus account to see if this gets better for me. I doubt I'll race online without the series element at least in the background.

I know it's only a test season, but I'm still mildly disappointed with my final result, especially since I feel I should've done much better at Deep Forest considering how much I've enjoyed that track over the years.

What rabbit hole does one need to dive into to find the final results? I'm about to send a string of profanity to Gran Turismo because I can't find it anywhere!!

Sorry if this is a redundant question, but are any other US users having issues seeing their results from Season 1? Or does anyone have a US-specific link? I'm getting nothing but blanks when fiddling with the links posted above.

EDIT: Found it. Here they are for anyone else who was having trouble.

Manu: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/sportmode/championship/108/1
Nations: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/sportmode/championship/104/1
Thank you, the only way I could find it was following your link. There was NOTHING on "my page" or News or anywhere else.

Any Chance that anyone knows were to find the Oceania/Asia results?

We thinking there's any shot the meta gets a bit of a shakeup tomorrow night? You'd think the lighter/slower cars might be more competitive given the Nordschleife.

Nations cup looks like the only way for me to race as the 11pm manufactures races are too late for me (early morning starts aren't fun) but 3rd in NZ in GT2 for the first test session isnt bad, =20th in Oceanic region.

Even did some testing for Friday nights race around the small Alsace track, don't lower the car too much as it binds on the banking (locking the steering) and the top hairpin. Think a high 56 second lap time will do well around that track with the 208.

The page essentially broke for the NA/SA region for the last round of Manu so they are very clearly not ready to roll it out.

We got lucky we even found it in the first place.

How does Q on N24 work again? It's 1 out lap + 1 hot lap?

 - Track: Nürburgring Ring 24h Layout
 - Qualifying Time: 13 Minutes

I would be interested in your opinion on this. Since all drivers start at the same time and it is not certain that you will be the first to come out of the pits, do you have a plan to get as free a hot lap as possible? Because, since you only have one try, it's really important here.

As we all know, overtaking on the ring is not easy and since I'm in the B ranking, you can't really expect the other drivers to stay clean in their lines.

I'm considering dropping back as far as possible and starting the hotlap at the bottom with a gap of 1-2 minutes.

In GTSport I would wait a bit, exit and then if there were too many close by I would return to the pits and exit again.

In higher lobbies MOSTLY drivers will try and maintain sensible gaps.

Yep I definitely do this every time, just be careful when it's something like the ring to leave yourself enough time to get round!

I only had a slightly different case in Laguna Secca.

I spun in the first hot lap in qualifying.. **** happens.. Then I got back on the track with the hazard lights on and tried to find a clean gap. In the corkscrew I was then shot down by the driver behind me who seemed to be braking and ended up in the very back.
What followed were really "great" laps that were ruined by drivers who made driving mistakes and who drove slowly in the last lap totally screwed up my qualification.
I really don't want to risk something like that on the ring and due to the unfavorable timing for me I will probably only be able to do 2 races, so I have to put everything in those 2 laps.

Just ran my 1 slot for Manu. One and done for me on the Nord. Felt slow and only had 2 laps to get used to the car so focused on taking it easy and just figuring the turning points now that I don't have weeks worth of understeer to power through.

Got in the lobby. 15 cars. 13 start Q and 12 finish. I waited a long time to try and be clear of everyone for my qualifying, but a guy who I've had this same problem with multiple times wrecks on his qualifying lap and then just parks his car in front of me by scrambling to get back on the racing line instantly. And slides several times, just holding me up. I go to pass on the final straight and he races me all the way to the last corners so I let him go. Despite the massive time loss it only cost me probably 1 spot. Start Q9

At the start I just take it easy, and survive turn 1. Redeeming myself from the last time this was a combo and I accidentally destroyed the entire thing there. But others wreck. So starting the loop I'm up 2 spots to p7, make another pass of a crashed car that lap to p6. A guy is slow in front starting the GP loop lap 2 and as I go for the inside of turn 3 he turns in on me and keeps pushing. So I back out. He slides out of 4 so I go inside at the hairpin. Same deal. He ruins the Schumacher S and as I get a run he keeps pushing me wide as if he can't see me. He screws up the run out of that next corners and I am front wheels ahead at the 24hr chicane where I just send it and pray for no track cut penalty. Luck is on my side and I proceed to pull a big gap while staying p5

End of lap 2 people are pitting and I come by inheriting p3. But one of the pitting cars was a lot faster and ran me down and drove past clean. Final draw to p4 and 160pts for Jaguar. Nice to hear the old girl again.

Not sure I'll have many more rounds, but anyone Running this beware, it is full night for lap 3. Be ready with appropriate markers.
Good racing and Good Luck.

Can some explain to me how to get to see the Results of the last test season ???

Is it just me or pd website is broken

How do i get to see my own result, please? And to the Rankings? I mean really! No link but just navigating there myself. (even with the link i just get to some Australian ranking i dont care for) How ****** is this page to not finding relevant info.
The website is not finished so these pages are only accessible by direct link.

1) Go to gran-turismo.com
2) the website should add your region to the end of the URL, for example /us/. If not, select your region by clicking on the flag.
3) Make sure you are logged in.
4) In the URL, after the two-letter region code, type gt7/sportmode/ For example in USA it is gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/sportmode/

That will show you links to the current Nations and Manu standings.

If you click through to one of the championships, take note of the last two numbers in the URL. The last one is one digit and represents the GT league. Leave it as 1, or change it to 2 or 3 (this can also be done with the drop-down selector).

The second-to-last number is three digits and represents the championship number. To see test season 1, you will need to replace this number with the previous championship number, and that number differs by region. In USA it was 103 and 107 if I remember correctly. Just mess with the third digit until you find it.

This is the only way to see results online until PD finishes the website.

Slot 2 in Asia. Running for Aston again. Ranked 11 of 15 in the lobby. Qualy and I give the car in front around 10 seconds of gap out of the pits and have caught it by turn 2 of the Nord, but he is just dawdling and lets me by. I catch 2 more in the out lap with no drama or attempts to race and when I hit the flying lap I’m in clear air. That lasts until Kallenhard where the car in front has gone off and rejoined. He lets me past but I lose a bit of time trying to anticipate which way he would go.

The rest of the lap is neat and tidy, but not particularly fast. I take Q11 with an 8:22.

Into the race and I have no idea about fuel and tyres. I take it easy early and short shift in formation. P10 goes off early on the Nord section and I’m now cruising between groups. This continues until the end of lap 1 when a McLaren who is a obviously not conserving fuel catches me onto the GP circuit. I have assessed that the no stop is feasible and continue to short shift and fuel map.

Nothing much happens on lap 2 and at the end the McLaren pits. He is the only pit stop in the field.

I get another spot when p9 goes off at Kallenhard and I am carefully managing fuel when I see the McLaren is taking chunks of time out of my lead.

By the time we hit the main straight he has caught my slip and my fuel is looking worrying so I let him by and draft him to the chicane. As we approach the checquered flag I am making up time but it comes too soon and I finish p10. 171 points. Probably won’t be my best or my worst result.

The last lap is exhausting and very, very cool in the dark.
