Gran Turismo's racing line and ghost comes to real life cars

windshield that's basically a massive head-up display, with projections of everything from speed to navigation icons that would replace the tiny HUDs we have today. But even that's too pedestrian for Jag.

For track junkies that want to wring out theirF-Type, the system shows the racing line – complete with braking and acceleration points – along with virtual cones, and yes, even a ghost car that could replace an instructor or show you how you've improved after multiple laps.
 
Sorry, my ignorance, but I don't see any connection with GT6. Still awsome and thanks for sharing.

It pretty much emulates everything that Gran Turismo does to help you get around a track. Now all that's missing is Skid Recovery Force...

Almost every racing game offers driving line and gost replay. It's not a GT-only option.
 
Wouldn't this be an Auto News thread?

Anyway, I've never used the racing line. Whenever I try to follow it with it's braking zones I always end up braking too little or too much. I'd be afraid to use it in real-life.
