Two more months to go till GTA's released for the PC. Seeing all these next gen videos and screenshots and whatnot makes the wait even harder than it already is
...GTA5 PS3..
Got it for PS4 yesterday, I've only played it for a couple of hours and I think it's about as much as you could expect for a remastering, the AA makes a big difference and thankfully the new DOF effect can be disabled.
Once you get used it I think it compliments the new visualsI hated that at first but left it on... and now I'm used to it I love it.
It was even worse in IV. There was actually a time when every car that was parked or driving around me was a Futo. Although with how quickly I went through destroying cars in that game, it was kinda convenient.Love the density and variety of traffic.
I'm sure most know the NG stock market doesn't pay like it did for OG during the assassination missions, but I noticed something odd. During the Multi Target mission, the first stock you buy, Debonaire[LCN], is suppose to max out at 80%. Mine was stuck at 25%. Just for the heck of it, while still on my portfolio tab, I clicked Bawsaq, and the profit jumped up to 69%. That wound up being the max.
Redwood is suppose to return 300%, but I only got 80, and passed a little more time, and it dropped to 24. Luckily I saved beforehand, and was able to get the 80%.
I still have 2 missions to go, but definitely not going to get the big bucks like on OG. At 167 million for each right now.
Unfortunately, I missed the glitched market early on.
So, I'll be getting this game soon (Either with my money, or Christmas), and I was reading online. There seems to be some confusion about keeping stolen cars.
Can you steal a car, repaint, and stick in your garage to make it yours? Or will it eventually disappear?
Thanks for the detailed and clear response! 👍 I was getting mixed answers from google. I know a car considered "Too Hot" by LSC won't be able to be saved if it's stolen online, so no swiping Adders and selling them.If it's a classic car or a sports car that you can buy on the ingame website, you probably won't be able to save it. Online forces you to buy most cars on the ingame website, which is bizarrely different to the ingame website offline, so if you find a Bullet (Ford GT) online and wonder why you can't store it like your offline Bullet, that's why.
It's a little different for other cars whether you're playing offline or online. Offline, cars get impounded (and get replaced if a 3rd car gets impounded) if you leave them outside your garage(s), Online, you can add a tracker to your cars and they'll return to your garage when you enter a new session, and you can also buy insurance so that you can retrieve them if they get destroyed (and they will get destroyed if you play online, so always buy insurance).

So, anything over 50,000 online has to be bought in order to keep/track/insure it?Adders do not spawn online. The only time you'll ever see one is if a player has theirs out.
Also, you can store just about any vehicle under $50,000 (Except for bikes, but I'll expand on that later) as long as it doesn't have a tracker placed on it by someone else. Vehicles under $50K are considered "standard." Vehicles over that price are considered "premium." Remind you of something?
On the subject of bikes, the high-end motorcycles like the Bati 801 or the 801RR can not be stored if they've been stolen off the street. They are premium motorcycles. The same thing applies for the Hakuchou, except it doesn't spawn anywhere.

Yeah, I was thinking exactly that.Precisely.
Seems a bit odd in a game literally named after the act of stealing cars.
It's only like that to force players to grind to afford them.Precisely.

This happened two nights ago when a friend and myself were searching for the various modded cars online.
I think having a "special car" that works just like the special crates would be a good concept. The vehicle in question would be a random car $100,000 or over that can be stolen and kept, and it would appear on the mini-map until someone takes the car into Los Santos Customs and installs a tracker/purchases insurance.Precisely.

I'd imagine a stolen super car would attract a lot of attention, hence why you can't keep it. Plus, it'd be way too easy if everyone had garages full of expensive cars. It's only like that to force players to grind to afford them.
Just a correction the highest price is 90kSo, anything over 50,000 online has to be bought in order to keep/track/insure it?
