I understand the cars are models from other games, But the other mods like jobs and playing as police must be original scripts ?

And notice how they can often be full of bugs... it's a pretty unfair comparison dude.

Yeah unfair on the modders in terms of budget and time,
When R* added online it was a mess (And still is because of cheating modders) and that came a while after when they was over a billions dollars richer
Someone making stuff in their bedroom with little to no help from friends that all do it for a hobby you should expect bugs.

GTA Online was one of the most, or the most anticipated launches with hundreds of thousands playing on release, compared to a couple hundred downloading a small script. If it's so easy to make a GTA, why aren't there more games as good as it?

Edit:

Somebody explain to this old guy what this Five does exactly, please.

It's a singleplayer based multiplayer with dedicated servers. It doesn't use any of your online info, just your main GTA V directory files. You only connect to Rockstar's servers to sign in and verify that you have a legitimate copy of GTA V (but not to play on Rockstar's official multiplayer), but other than that it doesn't use any of your online characters/stats.

So basically you won't get banned for any mods because you aren't technically playing GTA Online.

This is all if I remembered it correctly.

Some info I found about it. (Wham! free)

Have you guys seen this mod yet?
Seems R* was holding back on the graphics. Lots of changes made to the game with this mod. Changes how NPC act, including gangs and police. Also changes some physics, making cars behave a little more realistically, looks like you can actually drift cars using the mod! and lots of other things. I am copying my game and going to give it a try today.

I tried it but I'm not getting the same effect as those screenshots have. Maybe I didn't install it correctly or was there an update since when I downloaded it?

Whoa... it's scary to think that in a few years, this'll be the norm for graphics. That's gorgeous.

Currently its at 1.8.1, so there may have been an update? But a better question is, did you adjust video settings?

If you are not set on Ultra Mega Super graphics, then it won't look the same. :P

Funny how that is making the rounds though. Frequent visitors to GTA5-mods.com will have known about it for a long time.

Honestly, I've not had the PC game very long. And as I mostly play online, I don't really look for mods. This one though changes the driving physics, which is what pulled me in.

It's just an edited handling file(s). Tons of those out there. :)
