Most likely not, since PD believes it never rains in the USA. Jokes aside, we haven't seen rain in any US track (correct me if I'm wrong).
Imagine driving over the bridges in terrential rain.. I mean that's a very long fall :boggled:
Given the circuits in the US I'm not surprised there's very little rain.
Laguna Seca and Willow Springs are both desert circuits. Rain there would be shocking.
You can't race Northern Isle in the rain at all, ovals and rain don't mix. That also kinda eliminates Blue Moon other than the infield course.

Daytona should have rain for sure but only for the Road Course, so should Trial Mountain. I can see why Special X doesn't. Brazil 100% needs to have rain.

idc about the rally circuits do whatever lol

Im honestly shocked they brought all this now within the year of the games release. Very awesome. also shout out to the people that though they would never get sophy in this and reality is they got pretty much a beta of it within a year of announcement. Can’t wait to see it evolve.

Cool update not sure about how I feel about Grand Valley changes I would be happy with the original layouts to come back but its Kaz's game, it's a shame PS4 users do not get the Sophy races :( oh well, at least we get cars and a track. I been trying to get into GT7 more, but the economy still annoys me and needs adjusting, I've tweeted Kaz and Polyphony about it but no answer or response, I still feel its way to grindy and not rewarding enough :(.

And there aren't enough races. Would be nice if they did a SuperGT and Super Formula championship. Plus events with international tracks/cars combos. I mean, is Trial Mountain only for American cars?

That Grand Valley looks great! But I kinda wanted a 'racetrack' grand valley rather than a road course. I think they took highway 1 from the US and wedged the grand valley circuit into that 'theme'.

It's certainly not how I would've redone grand valley, but they have done a LOT of work on that track it seems and will hopefully drive well and have good racing on there.

Plus the VR update and Sophy is coming in.... and all for free!
I wonder what they've fixed in this update as well?

What a massive and impressive update, for PS5 users. PS4 users, well you get a few more cars but that $600 PS5 are in stock so bring money for the free update.
Yes, this is a very sarcastic response, but all to normal these days, no one wants to put in effort for the other system when there's money to be made on the new system, even if they marketed the game for both systems, we all knew this day was coming. Soon enough, there will not be updating on the PS4.

Secondly, This looks like a circuit made on a civilian highway emulating the Pacific Ocean Highway, and if it's anything like Saint Croix or Sadegna, it's going to suck at emulating a circuit made on civilian roads but that's more of a pet peeve of mine.
Speak for yourself, Sardegna and St Croix are great circuits once you learn them and get the flow of the circuits.

Argh, I guess I was wrong...

In the awesome retro-inspired track racer in the molds of Gran Turismo and the better Forzas, featuring hundreds and hundreds of cars, all with a "Race Modification" a-lá GT on PS1, plus some sport body kit options, with separate liveries to apply only if you want, or to use without the body mods, and with many tracks, inspired by both real tracks and popular tracks from video games, everything fictional to avoid problems with licensing, hundreds of events, with events being available in different levels, like in GT3.. in this incredible game which exists in my mind that I will never make, it was Deep Forest that was a Highway, allowing for both the old-school and the new second to last corner to be used in different layouts.

It's time to save up for a PS5.

What are you rambling about?

The PS4 does not support VR2 and doesn't have the processing power for Sophy; I thought this was pretty clear. The PS4 version is getting an identical update otherwise, and there has been no indication that PD will stop supporting the PS4 version anytime soon.

Please resume taking whatever medication you stopped before posting this.

Oh it's Grand Valley alright. Even has the East section by the looks of it (maybe that's the 'South' layout now?)
Seems like the final straight may be longer now, and goes over another bridge which then enters you into the tunnel below:

So overall it seems like:
Grand Valley Speedway = Grand Valley Highway-1
Grand Valley East = Grand Valley South layout
The math checks out too I think. If the 'south' layout is 1 mile according to the website, and the original full Speedway is 3, that sounds about right.

Great, I was afraid they would massacre the track

Please let Grand Valley Speedway exist somewhere inside that Highway complex. Otherwise my heart will bleed.

Same 🥺

I think what people are missing is the track is called Grand Valley, emphasis on VALLEY, the name doesn't really apply now.
I had to go back and watch some videos of the old Grand Valley Speedway as its been over a decade since I raced that but i would say from the footage we have so far that there are MORE valleys in the revamps layout!

Pleased to see this track. Quite tempted to get a PS5 and the game now with this update and the Sierra Cosworth from before.
