why does everyoune use japanese FF cars (apart from the citroen) I mean come on you have forgotten Fiats only car in the game, and alpha romeos only car in the game. If I could still use the FF 1991 lotus elan in GT2 I would.

I don't know about you guys, but I still like my RUF CTR2 with dirt tires. Can't get it to turn on the road but it's nice for powering around rally corners with 4WD and 840 hp...

The rally cars are very much alike.. And it is possible to win all the rally races in any of the rally cars. (Those races are too easy)
If i HAVE to post a favorite, I vote for the corolla.

Ya, it's too hard to come up with a definate winner here, 'cause they are all so evenly matched. There isn't one that you *know* that you'll dominate with, or one that you know you'll lose with.

<shrug> I like the Escort myself.

I love to Rally race (missed my life calling...) but in GT3 It seems to have been added as a second thought. I enjoyed it, but found it a pain. All those races to win cars you're not likely to use again? Only to win a car at the Finale, that I will never use.

So I threw Dirt Tires on the Impreze LM, and blasted through them all in a few short hours.

I did try the CTR2 but seemed to burn out more than move.

Enjoy.

Till later,
AO

I think a tuned XSARA RALLY CAR ONCE WON WITH A TUNE SETUP IS GREAT CAR AS IT DRIFTS WELL, HOW ABOUT THIS:

BEETLE RSI V6 4WD

434BHP RALLY TIRES FAST CAR, FAST DRIFTER

GOOD COMBINATION! :D

best arcade rally car is without doubt the lancia delta  run any rally course in any arcade car ! get your best lap possible then save your ghost , now take the delta against that ghost and you'll kick the original ghosts ass in a few laps ;) there's your answer , lancia delta is the king of arcade rally , no doubt 😈

well it works for me anyway :P laters 😈

Actually, that brings up a good point - anyone know if the game throws "rain" tires on your car for driving in SSR 5 - wet?

In theory, a car with normal tires might actually be better than a car with any of the racing tires (slicks)...

Anyone played with it to try and figure that out?

Take your Integra down a notch on the power thingies.

Or take of your racing parts and make them normal. Well only some of them.

What happens is you get too much power for a FF car to handle and it wears out the tyres too quickly and it handles like a dog.
