The TRD Celica is FF isn't it? Man that car is sweet. I don't really remember how it does in races, but I like the asthetics of it. I've got a black one fully maxed out, it's fun to watch in replays.

Funny you should mention that - I won one of those and never touched, preferring my turbo Integra Type R, which I don't enjoy driving - quick in a straight line, but the understeer's horrid.

I was picking through the lists and saw the Celica (mine's blue) and decided to do the full works on it, except I did the full NA work on it rather than turbo it.

And it's a great drive! Understeer's nowhere near as bad, and it points and turns in very well.

I don't have one (come to think of it - I'm ont even 100% sure it's available), but what about the FTO LM? That car rocked in previous versions!

True, but given the LM version drives through four paws it's not really covered here. The production version certainly is FF

FF cars and i dont mix.
not a fan at all, and neither were the FF series races. their the only races i lose. :)

FR all the way!

but if i had to choose one it'd be the FTO, mainly coz it's the only one i bothered to use, not too fast but is fun coz it's somehow set to drift very nicely.

Just wondering your favorites on FF cars. I hate FF, but I have to finish the FF races and I need a good solid car to go on that will take me through the leagues. Any suggestions?

Nico, may I suggest the Citroen Xsara Rally car to do the FF races? When fully tuned with a Stage 2 Turbo and when the LSD settings are adjusted, you get a pretty good chance of beating all other FF cars.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of FFs for the fact that they are usually used in family sedans and hatchbacks over here in the UK. Not much fun especially with all that understeer. Having said that, the new Honda Civic Type-R about to arrive here is quite fast and looks like alot of fun. :D

I agree. My Acura Integra Type-R is the best....:D

I used a Mitsu FTO for the first series. Check to see if you can NA tune any of the cars you have. Some will alow both turbo and NA and you can switch back and forth in change parts.

If you have a F090/S or F094/S (H) use that, but if you don't then go with an Elise, the FTO is a good choice as well. If you are looking for handleing go with the Elise, speed the FTO.

If you have the money, take a trip to Tickford(Aus). Nearly 1000bhp out of a NA engine, fast as ****!!!!!!!! Just get saving to buy it...

Just got a Corvette C5R, also NA, now up to around 1010bhp, and increasing by 1bhp each race. Happy Andy :D

Well, even though I've gone on record as a GM-hater in real life, I must admit that a Camaro SS is a faster-than-death N/A car for cheap. It doesn't handle particularly well, but that's where all the torque comes in. :D

I've got a nice loose setup on my SS and it's awesome to drive. Everything is maxed out on it which gives it almost 1000hp. As long as you can steer with rear tires the car is pretty unbeatable. I used it to beat the Japanese Championship, American Championship, and European Championship just to name a few. It's my old standby along with the Camaro Race Car....;)....Toucan

Yeah, don't you love the fact that you can win the Japanese Championship with Detroit Iron?

Oh, and welcome to the board!
