I'm actually liking what's been shown of the story so far. The acting doesn't look overtly cheesy, and the "virtual sets" are really well done, and are honestly pretty convincing at certain points. It's a little refreshing and gives the game a bit of a personality compared to previous entries.
Also, I feel like Codies would be slightly missing an opportunity if the M3 GTR doesn't have a Most Wanted-esque livery.
At this point, my interest is primarily on any other real-world tracks, as well as what multiplayer looks like.

I do hope the AI is better than the last game. When I try Grid 2019 when it came to game pass last year, even on hardest difficulty the AI is way too easy to overtake them in 1-2 laps. They seem to be only fast during qualifying and kept bumping into each other to be fast during races.

I feel like Codemasters bought Slightly Mad Studios to eliminate Project CARS so GRID could have more space in the market. However, EA now has the power to sacrifice GRID as a franchise if it fails again, and then the entire acquisition of SMS just seems pointless, and even sadder because that studio branched out from EA in the first place. Please tell me I’m wrong, because I want to be.

It seems Lamborghini may not be in and same for Mclaren. Ferrari is uncertain havent seen any images of them.

Licensing issues most likely. I think CM and Ferrari could not come to an agreement. I dont think there would be issues as CM is owned by EA and EA also has the licence for Ferrari I mean they appeared in NFS heat recently.
Will just have to wait and see. It would be a shame to lose Ferrari. If it happens I hope CM can get another Italian car manufacturer in like Maserati, FIAT or Lamborghini.
Lamborghini have been missing since Race Driver Grid. Driving thr R GT was great in Lemans.
Still losing Ferrari sucks. Losing Ferrari is a big deal. When having a racing game it always been the must have. Its too big not to have. Even if Ferrari is not in I still enjoy my racing games without them but it also a question comes how awesome would it be if this game had Ferrari. When Gran Turismo 2 or 3 or 4 im like wouldnt be great if we got Ferrari perhaps.

I will definitely loose some interest to this game without Ferrari. There are motorsports which feels empty without Ferrari brand like GTE/GT3 for example, i hope its not the case.

Its too big of a brand not to have. Ferrari has a rich history in both automotive and motorsport. Nearly every racing game go to any lengths just to get Ferrari. Such a brand with enormous impact.
Not having Ferrari is like Fifa not having Real Madrid, Juventus or Manchester United.

The game should launch with over 130 cars and the partial list you find on the official website. Currently we have about 70 to 73 cars known. That leaves around 60 cars left to be revealed.

Yeah I know there is a lot to unveil, but my first red flag with no Ferrari is footage from an event with Heritage GT with Ford GT. In GRID 2019 this class was also available but it had Ferrari 599XX with these Ford, and now... there is only Ford GT. Maybe it was one-make race made from this class or they changed some cars etc. But it raised some concerns in my mind.

F40 LM!! If only we also got the Mclaren F1 GTR 1995, Lotus Espirit GT1 and the Porsche 911 GT1(993). We can do some awesome BPR races of the 95s and 96s!!
Viper and the Lister Storm too!! Viper before joining GT2 raced in GT1.
