Grinding For Credits

Finally, own all cars... Total 166 cars in my Garage... got 3-4 dups and 3 special cars purchased using miles

and 20 Mil cash in the bank

Now I can do some real racing and try to enjoy the game! Phew!

:D:gtpflag:

edited: in the master car list, it says

List Stats
Total Cars: 168

It does not reconcile with my numbers. Hmmmm... I double checked every manufacturer and I have them all...

Edit 2:

OK I double checked by sorting by manfuactured and notice I do not have 4C Gr.3 Road Car (N500) . I believe this full list contains all these special cars that I may have missed purchasing when they showed up.

I believe there is 167 in the game. With the road cars all being mileage only purchases. Did you fully upgrade each car using the mileage points too?

What to do after you Have all the cars and reach 20,000,000 limit again.

you have to Bank Cars. ( buy a car Just to be resold later )
the Best car is the
LAMBORGHINI Veneno 2014 $3,640,000

If there is a Garage Limit to the number of cars, then it's best to only buy the Most Expensive car.

All of the Cars sell for 30%

so you get $1,092,000 when you sell one.

So if you bank 20 of them in the garage, you'll have at least 20,000,000 when you sell them all.

And if the Garage has a 200 car limit.
Then you can add 32 of these.

168 including 7 road cars and the Audi R18 TDI Le Mans 2011 (Gr.1). I still don't know how to get it.

now ive got the set of cars and 20mil plus. ive started swapping out gift cars for bought ones. its easier for me to clean up dupes as the gift cars are Identified with a coloured dot. and if I don't spend the credits you cant earn anymore anyway.

For My Birthday I came up with a new and Improved way to earn Mega Credits and XP.
20,000,000 credits an Hour.
198,000 xp an Hour.

and it's pretty much Automatic... works every time, as long as you use the e-brake when you see the word START.
Don't press the Gas pedal at all.
during 3,2,1 you turn the wheel full lock to the right.
on Start Press the e-brake.
then in the middle of the spin, straighten the Wheel and Mash the Gas....
steer Right to stay close to the Kerbs.

here is one run - 30 seconds.. Start to Start

168,000 in 30 seconds
1,650 xp in 30 seconds

setting it up.

@WyldAnimal :bowdown:
Thanks for posting the videos...I am finally able to use e-brake after watching your videos! I am doing 12 second laps now...
My field does hit me if I don't have the wheel perfectly straight and get on the gas promptly...I am going to try a reduced field of 7 cars which still nets me my 1650xp.

By the way, Happy Birthday...my Father was born on November 18th as well. Happy Birthday Dad!!!

Maybe they goofed and that car is only available if you bought premium versions of the game? I'm gonna go look for it now.

EDIT: I only see the Team Joest R18 TDI in my garage and in brand central.

Nah it seems to be a gift car, I got the Deluxe version. It's just a "dirty" version of the car, but still, it's missing so I want it. :boggled:

There is no garage limit of 200 cars. I've got 221 cars. Around 40 venenos :-)
Yeah, I was just using 200 as an example..
But the Idea of Banking the Most expensive car is still, I think, the best way to store your Credits.
Limit or no limit to the garage.

But I tested selling just about every car, they are all 30% sell value for what you Paid for them.
So every car you buy is banking 30% of your money.

Many thanks for the tip , my average race win is around15 seconds :).

Edit: Use your Golf Vll GTl '14 from your garage, tune it up and you can get a 10 second race win by doing this :).

In some past times, I would hurry with credits, trophies and everything too.

Thank God, this has changed.
No more worries about trophies, I have even made new account and throw away my seven years old one.

Speaking about credits, they are going up just fine without farming.
I have 2.5m (got game on 30.10.) and didn't bought any car yet.

But that's my case and opinion.

Has anybody else done the money glitch where you get 211k every 40-45 seconds on Nurburgring?

Best way to get money at the moment. They'll probably patch it soon.

Well I did find a faster method.. It pays a bit less per run, but you can do many more runs in an hour.
So it works out to 20,000,000 credits and 200,000xp per hour. average is 30 seconds start to Start, but I can do it in 28 is my fastest start to start.
Here is a video of One Run...

My Grinding is Over. I've reached Level 50.
49 to 50, took about two hours of Grinding.
i did it in 15 minute stints. then got up and stretched my legs, bathroom breaks, Beer run, Snacks..
So it really took about 4 hours all together, but 2 hours of game time.

here is a video of the Last 5 minutes of Grinding - Woo Hoo level 50

What? no Fan Far, no Fireworks!
Well about 5 minutes later, here is the Fan Fare.

Oh, the setup for the new and Improved 10.7xx runs
all the same for the 24 hour ring..
interval is 95.1 feet, instead of 82 feet. The 4C is faster and needs more room.
Start in spot 3, If your just grinding for the XP points, you Only need to use 7 cars, not the full 20. A bit less credits, but same XP
The tune for the 4C is in the video.
Diff. LSD and Trans setting is Important.
Accel. too fast and you will slide into the guard rail, too slow and you wont make in to the pit automatically.
During 3,2,1 steer full lock to the right Keep your Foot off the Gas, At the Word Start wait a 10th or two , then Tap the E-brake. ( you want the car to start to turn in, before you tap the e-brake. )
in the middle of the spin, mash the gas, and straighten the wheel.
But get ready to Steer to the Right Immediately to get over to the curb. ( don't hit the guard rail )
If you Don't you'll get whacked by the AI and won't get the CRB.

I am finished with grinding to level 50...👍 Thank you very much for all the people who contributed to this thread as I used a variety of methods while leveling up from level 24 to level 50... I stayed with the Mazda Roadster and once I got e-brake down, I had three days of 12.3xx "laps" with monotonous regularity to level up from level 47 to 50.

Personally, I would recommend staying with a field of 7 cars to help insure the clean race bonus...

Isn't this the same method as in this post https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/grinding-for-credits.361900/page-9#post-12050437

Mazda Roadster (tuned to 199, super soft racing tires) only one opponent, distance to 25m. The payout is 1650 EP (including bonus).
You can brake directly with the start and turn right, when speed is low enough use e-brake. Because of the low speed theres no risk using e-brake. I get the bonus nearly 100%.

He uses 2 cars, you use 20, but the payouts are the same.

When setting up custom race, put your grid position to last and turn off boost, it increases payout as well.

Payout differs with number of cars from what I've seen.

That prolongs each run, usually making it less efficient.

it's similar, but my Hourly payouts are higher with my version.

I get 20,000,000 cr an hour, and 198,000 to 211,000xp per hour. ( 28 second start to start = 211k, 30 second start to start = 198k )

edit: Plus with my tweak, the spin in, is pretty much automatic. It's really hard to Miss.
No Gas, 3,2,1 turn full lock, press e-brake at start. Automatic spin .

his is just a bit slower, and only reaches 165k per hour.

I did some experiments with different settings for the pitlane grind.

...
Together with 20 seconds you need to restart this gives 2100 EP in 56 sec or 135.000 EP per hour.
...
My best result was 14,5 sec for the run with average 15-16 sec.
Even the payout per run is 450 EP lower you will win over time. 36 sec (16 sec run + 20 sec restart) will give you 165.000 EP per hour.
I think this is the absolute maximum you can reach at the moment.

edit: Plus with my tweak, the spin in, is pretty much automatic. It's really hard to Miss.
No Gas, 3,2,1 turn full lock, press e-brake at start. Automatic spin .

I will second this as I was struggling with e-brake until I watched his video...in three consecutive days I never missed the entry.

By like 9 seconds?

1 hour = 3600 seconds ( 60 seconds x 60 minutes )
3600 / 28 seconds = 128 runs 128 x 1650xp = 211, 200 xp per hour
3600 / 37 seconds = 97 runs 97 x 1650xp = 160,050 xp per hour

which would you rather earn in your Hour of time? 200k or 160k?

that 9 seconds makes a difference !

@WyldAnimal - Either way is ludicrously fast compared to what PD intended!

But is zocker's way is as slow as 37 seconds? I usually had a finish time of ~14 secs. You got a finish time of 10.582... call it 3.5 secs faster per run for that bit. Is there other time gained elsewhere?

I´m down to an average of 13,3 seconds per run with a 199 PP Mazda. Instead of regular braking i use the E-brake directly after the start as WyldAnimal posted before. "No Gas, 3,2,1 turn full lock, press e-brake at start. Automatic spin" .
The methode is so simple, you can watch a tv show or youtube videos on another screen while doing this.
Also i use the pad instead of my wheel and automatic transmission.

The payout is about 180.000 EP per hour and bonus rate about 100%, maybe missed about 2-3 within a 2 hours session.
I have only 114.000 EP left to level 50. So thanks to all who contributed in this thread and helped to improve this method.

Well done , I have just got to level 50 a few moments ago :). The field of 7 cars is the way to go.
