Grinding For Credits

Tried it a bunch of times but cant seem to get that bonus ????
Ive tried this a couple of times, the way to do it is to not go off track at all, and not touch the cones and to not have any input after you reverse, just get up to speed and let the car coast. when you reappear on track then get back on the gas and head for the finish line.

You can touch the cones, and still get the clean race bonus when you do the reverse.

really? i was being really strict and careful about it. i thought that you couldn't make any contact whatsoever.
Hitting the cones are ok, unless you hit the fence and then you will not get the clean race bonus.

@WyldAnimal - Either way is ludicrously fast compared to what PD intended!

But is zocker's way is as slow as 37 seconds? I usually had a finish time of ~14 secs. You got a finish time of 10.582... call it 3.5 secs faster per run for that bit. Is there other time gained elsewhere?

I was basing it off his post and his times he mentioned in his post.
I came up with the method I was using independently on my own,
we both have a very similar approach.
And Yes both are incredibly Fast Credit and XP earners.

You can't go wrong with any of the Methods presented in this thread.
Some take More manual control, and others like my method, are almost Automatic.

Grind away while you still can, Once it's Patched... the opportunity is gone...

which ever method you choose, figure out your Per Hour XP rate.
then you can decide how long it will take and which Method you want to use.

earning 200,000 xp per hour with my Method.
From level 20, it will take approx 12 hours ( 11.6 )
From Level 35, it will Take 11 hours.
From Level 40, it will take approx 10 hours ( 9.8 )
From Level 45 to 50, It will take a total of 7 hours

After neglecting my grinding duties last week due to a business trip and a weekend at family, I'm back on it.

Got most of the way to lvl 47 last night, and will finish this off and start the slog to 48 tonight.

An hour a night is about all my patience will stand!

Well I did find a faster method.. It pays a bit less per run, but you can do many more runs in an hour.
So it works out to 20,000,000 credits and 200,000xp per hour. average is 30 seconds start to Start, but I can do it in 28 is my fastest start to start.
Here is a video of One Run...

My Grinding is Over. I've reached Level 50.
49 to 50, took about two hours of Grinding.
i did it in 15 minute stints. then got up and stretched my legs, bathroom breaks, Beer run, Snacks..
So it really took about 4 hours all together, but 2 hours of game time.

here is a video of the Last 5 minutes of Grinding - Woo Hoo level 50

What? no Fan Far, no Fireworks!
Well about 5 minutes later, here is the Fan Fare.

Oh, the setup for the new and Improved 10.7xx runs
all the same for the 24 hour ring..
interval is 95.1 feet, instead of 82 feet. The 4C is faster and needs more room.
Start in spot 3, If your just grinding for the XP points, you Only need to use 7 cars, not the full 20. A bit less credits, but same XP
The tune for the 4C is in the video.
Diff. LSD and Trans setting is Important.
Accel. too fast and you will slide into the guard rail, too slow and you wont make in to the pit automatically.
During 3,2,1 steer full lock to the right Keep your Foot off the Gas, At the Word Start wait a 10th or two , then Tap the E-brake. ( you want the car to start to turn in, before you tap the e-brake. )
in the middle of the spin, mash the gas, and straighten the wheel.
But get ready to Steer to the Right Immediately to get over to the curb. ( don't hit the guard rail )
If you Don't you'll get whacked by the AI and won't get the CRB.

Massive kudos for helping with this. Got me from lvl 49 to 50 in no time.

Tip for anyone going to 50-- (good) Audiobooks help infinitely. Grinding requires just the right amount of basic mental awareness and movement so that you can maintain concentration on the book and the road for long periods at a time without feeling like your soul has fallen out.

It starts to get a bit demotivating after lvl 45... where you need 200k+ to the next level

Takes some commitment to keep plugging away!
Last night I got about just over £10 million Cr. & all that XP, then I just gave up & joined my friends lobby. It really does get repetitive  But hey, making the most of it while we stil have it. :D Only need a few more GR.3 & GR.4 cars, then I'm gonna give up :D

I've already got at least 1 of all the cars, max credits and mileage points... I'm doing it to get lvl 50 out of the way for Platinum.

An hour a night after work will get me there in a week or so.

Took me about 12 days to get from L23 to L50.

I first learnt about the cash cow in a Saturday, so myfirst aim was to obtain enough cash to get all cars by the following Wednesday.

I then challenge accepted getting to L50 by the next Wednesday given it wasn’t patched.

Was a major effort and got my life back once I achieved it. But was annoyed given they didn’t patch it again... so I could have relaxed more!

Oh, I already had level 50 with his method before you posted yours, plus all the cars and a bunch of Venenos in my garage - so I was honestly just curious :) His is slightly more automatic because of having a clear track - after respawn just a little tap left to avoid the wall. Even so, 43 to 50 took me about 5 days because I couldn't take doing much more than an hour a day of it!

Now I've got no idea if we'll ever get anything more to spend the credits (or mileage points from rubber-banding) on

Big thanks to all who have posted methods!

I experimented last night with the cut down version, and you only need 1 opponent to get 1,650 exp per run (n199 vs grp1, 150% bonus)... which kills the risk of being shunted by the AI.

It's 37s between hitting start and then hitting start again for the next run. Not just the timer on screen.

I am aware :) I was comparing like-for-like, where the difference was about 3.5 secs. The rest ought be the same regardless of method, I think - that's what I was checking on.

What to do after you Have all the cars and reach 20,000,000 limit again.

you have to Bank Cars. ( buy a car Just to be resold later )
the Best car is the
LAMBORGHINI Veneno 2014 $3,640,000

If there is a Garage Limit to the number of cars, then it's best to only buy the Most Expensive car.

All of the Cars sell for 30%

so you get $1,092,000 when you sell one.

So if you bank 20 of them in the garage, you'll have at least 20,000,000 when you sell them all.

And if the Garage has a 200 car limit.
Then you can add 32 of these.

Using your helpful tactic (thanks!) to do just this at the moment, while I still can... Also slowly levelling up. On 44 right now.

Looks like I’m grinding again for a few more days to bank as many Lamborghini’s as possible; in preparation for the 50 odd cars coming our way. Although it is ‘free dlc’, I wonder if they are truly free to use, or still have to spend credits to use them.

I'm now fully committed to grinding for the next few days (in between family stuff)... want to make sure I'm 50 before the patch comes next week in case the glitch gets fixed.

Half way to lvl 49, currently, so expect to be there tonight, and 50 over the weekend/Monday.

Although rubber banding only makes a small indent once you pass lvl 47, I'm still running it whilst working sleeping, just to try and minimise the monotony of glitching. But I have had to change my strategy - n100 v grp1 just stopped working. I had multiple fails due to AI hitting the Miata, resulting in the game crashing on my PS4. Now using a grp3 car as AI, and this is working well. The exp payout is only marginally smaller.

I'll be glad when this is over and I can get back to driving - haven't had my wheel out in a while

What i found a bit weird, the credit limit stops at 20 million but the cash amount keeps going up in the achievment section all the way to 50 million. Not sure if its been mentioned so appologies if it has already.

...as far as I know, it was always limited to approximate same value :)

If i remember previous gt was limited to 20 mil but what i mean is the achievement amount goes higher but not in game credits,im on about 23 million on the cash achievement screen.Just seems a little odd unless it will change in game in a later update.

...nope, all you grind over 20mils is just going towards achievement since it is counting how much you earn, but cache alone is going nowhere and you won't be able to regain it. Better is to use it if you don't have all the cars... and later when you get some of those cars, you sell them to regain around 30% back...

Ah i see.I buy a few cars then race/grind again until i hit that magic marker.Rinse and repeat.Lol
Mileage points seem to be preferable to credits this time around.

My way of grinding for mileages points: a rubber band for R2, Tomahawk at Northern Isle Speedway in second gear.

At the moment i use the tomahawk vision technology,go to a lobby, create room for free run.Enter track from pits then hit the pause button. The car will auto drive for as long as you want it to.9-10 second laps.I went and did something else for a few hours when i came back it had clocked 1000 laps which took 2hrs 45min and gave me 5630 milage points,600 miles but no xp or credits.
I saw this method posted on a different thread so i dont take credit for the idea.
