Grinding For Credits

I wonder if they are truly free to use, or still have to spend credits to use them.

From my understanding, it wasn't said that they would just go straight to your garage. They will likely be at Brand Central.

I started a fresh Account today to test out the Best way to Grind to level 20.
Starting at level 1, you can use the dragon track to grind to level 8, by that time you've earned an Achievement Bonus, that will take you to level 9, and that triggers a 2nd Bonus to take you to 10.
It Takes about 5 minutes to get to level 10.

Then on Level 10, you Use the Longest Express way track, and Grind to level 20.
Spend some of your 1.8 million on the SRT grX car ( you can use this on the Speed way Oval to earn Millage points later )
and also buy the N200 4c CAR.
It takes about 45 - 50 minutes. To get to level 20 ( an hour from level 1 and 50k to 1.8 million and level 20 )
Once at 20, do the 24 Hr Ring grind to get to 20,000,000 credits
this takes about 2 more hours.
buy all the under 1,000,000 cars...
You will be at level 36 when you hit 20,000,000 and it takes a total of about 3 hours from level 1 with 50k in the bank.

After your First 20,000,000 and spending them
you just repeat this 4 more times
A total of about 11 hours from level 1 to Level 50
About 8 hours to get all the cars, if that's all you want.

It's all pretty much the same.
1 Lap, 20 cars
use the N100 roadster,
start at grid spot 20,
Gap to 82 ft.
Boost to None
GR1 opponents
Professional level

and then do the reverse into the pit ( on the track your Using )
On the Dragon, it's a skill challenge, Make it around the first right hand turn, and get the timing of the E-brake spin in to the pit.
Do this to level 8 ( use the Bonus to get to 10 )

On the Expressway, It's also a skill challenge. Full throttle, once you go into the tunnel, stay to the right lane, at the Third Arrow head, jamb on the breaks, slow to under 45, relax the brake and make a Hard Left turn in to pit lane, so you are facing the Opposite direction. Don't tag the wall.
use your Mirror and revers into the pit, the race to the finish line.
Do this to Get to Level 20.
Spend the credits on two cars.

Then use the 24 hr Ring, and the N200 4C to grind to get all the cars, or reach level 50.

Looks like I’m grinding again for a few more days to bank as many Lamborghini’s as possible; in preparation for the 50 odd cars coming our way. Although it is ‘free dlc’, I wonder if they are truly free to use, or still have to spend credits to use them.

Free as in you dont have to spend real life money to get the DLC. Im sure in game though, each car will be priced accordingly. Dont see why they would just put them for no effort at all in your garage.

The real hero of this thread.

OP (@ExoticMachines) should edit his post for this info.

Does this actually work?

I did as above for around 2 hours. Exited the lobby, backed out to the main screen and nothing happened. No increase in mileage points........nothing.

Sure the mileage on the car used rose, but there was no gain within the game, except I got the trophy for running 500 miles on an oval.

i've done it a few times and Yes It has worked every time for me.
Make note of your Millage points before you start.
Then compare when you finish.

There is no, message to tell you, you've earned 1,200 points ... etc...
They are just added....

The fact you got a trophy, should tell you the Millage points were accumulated.

EDIT: I'm sure this will be patched with 1.06, so there are a couple days left to take advantage of it...

a couple photos
1st thing I did was unlock on-line..
then I started -
Level 1, $50k, 0 Miles at 14:07 1st win.....
Level 36, $20,000,000 71.2 miles, at 16:57

Yeah, getting the trophy should tell me it works, but at the start of this 'grind' I had 46041 mileage points. After 2 hours of running the grind, and exiting back to the game, I still had 46041 mileage points, and a trophy.

I'm done :)

A 2.5 hr session this afternoon to go from 49 to 50. No more tedious handbraking for me.

PD can patch it now :D

NO, you have to grind away a few more hours times... At Least 60,000,000 credits worth..
Then go Buy the Lambo for 3.6 million to Bank as many of them in your Garage as you can..

each one can be sold for a little over 1,000,000 if you need money..

Don't know what will happen after the Patch, but we may need to be able to Sell cars for Credits..

I have 20 mill and there's nothing to spend it on.

I hoarded a load of 250GT SWB in GT6 and never needed them.

we don't know if these credits will evaporate with the update.
that's why I suggest to Bank Cars in the Garage, that you can to later sell if needed.
Bank as many Lambos @3.6 million each, plus fill up you 20,000,000 credit limit.
Just in case.

The first test will be tomorrow’s update... 3 new cars that may need purchasing using credits. With another 50 supposedly coming over the next 4 months.

Exactly what I was getting at... who knows what's going to happen to all of us who Exploited the Bug.???

God dang it, 46 and a half atm, this is going to be painful.

E: Could this work?

1: delete patches aka get back to vanilla game state.
2. Grind to level 50 without quitting the game.

I'm round about the same level too. I guess we'll (somehow) have to finish the old fashioned way! To a certain extent I'm not too bothered at the moment as my chances of getting platinum seem to be a lot lower than GT6. For a start getting gold round the 'ring in the circuit/mission challenges is currently beyond my meagre abilities.

Now that the reverse into pits doesn't work anymore, I tried the "let the Group 1s run out of fuel" method for a 10 minute endurance while I tour the course in a N100 car.

Turns out though, the new car that was introduced, the Audi R18 '16 version is ridiculously fuel efficient...

Only did one lap so far, will confirm if it happens again.

-Edit-
Yep. The new Audi R18 '16 version ran out of fuel last by a huge margin, then the Toyota TS050 Hybrid '16 ran out still plenty ahead of the pack, though it wasn't one of the new ones added from the 1.06 update list.

I assume rubber banding still works, but at a max payout of c.40k for 24hrs it's going to take a long time to get the last few levels.

I don't really see why PD wants to fix this. If it has no effect on online races, let us have it. Nobody likes grinding for money to buy cars, right?
Good thing I used the exploit until I had each car available at the moment. Now let's hoop someone discovers a new easy way to get credits.
