Setting these records drove me INSANE

I probably did at least 100 laps to make each time, along with the tuning process...so I'm pretty exhausted right now lol

It may be a while before I try to set some new records (probably FF class next), because "business" is picking up, and I'll be very busy the rest of this month and the next.

After that...my domination will continue!!!

lol I was referring to some of the statements in one of the recent topics. Some things were said about the GC8 that I, personally, found very offensive, since I'm a big fan of the GC8

That's why I did it, it just looked weird without the Escudo on there.

(btw, do you need gameshark to make a hybrid car, for that "Hybrid Testing" class you added?)

On you don't need one, because I run GT2 on the computer, I use programs
to make my hybrids. If you want to know how to do that just PM me your
email address and I will send you a file with everything you will need to know.
Plus if you go to the "Hybrid and Gameshark" part of GTP you can check out
some of my threads on how to make hybrids on the computer.

Now those are the code I would like from you, code's that change the car in
ways that are not normal. Like taking a 5000rpm's engine and making it rev
all the way up to 10000rpm's without having to enter a code every time you
play the game. Well the list will be updated after this post.

You got it, These are codes I modifed using a Hex Caluculator, I also did the same when modifying all seven gears including the final gear in the transmission, Some cars with a already high tach want work with the high tack code, But my codes are saveable to your memory cardand are great for Small cars that you want to scream and most cars with small tach, They sound so much better with a BIG Tach! If the car you want excepts turbos then go ahead and ad the turbos first! And then put in the codes below to make a much more screaming high tach engine, If you like the HP that comes with it, Then save it and it will save! If you want Bigger Tachs I can provide those for you also, Weight reduction of 68 to 70Lbs are also posted below with the first Larger tach for you to test!

The cars base is original, You don't have to look for a better Base fitting like in GT3, It Seems the base makes no difference in the out come... 👍 .

Yes you are right, but by changing the base you car change how the car
handle's and how much it weigh's. That's why I asked, that's all.

Ok, But! There's no base codes which seperate the chasis from the body, Please inform me. Unless your talking about starting with a better handling car and then adding the body you want to the car? I do that also, The down fall is trying to remember what it originally started out to be when you go to buy different parts, The base is the only place you can do purchases and sometimes it drives me nuts looking in all four cities to find them...

Well let's see, what I did on my RX-7 is changed the base from the normal(GT-Turbo '83),
to the base for the RX-7 LM. That's why the weight is 1805LB in stead of 2003LB.
Here I will give you a idea of what I mean.

(for NTSC 1.2)
801CD56A - 0002(normal base)
801CD56A - 0024(LM base)

This is how I change the weight of most of my cars, plus it's how I get different
handling as well. I don't know of any other way to show what I do.

I try other method of reducing weight, though can not be saved in memory card, have to be refreshed everytime exiting race, the code is different for different car since we need to patch the car weight lookup. But we can get any weight we want. The weight is in kg, so the minimum weight for NTSC version is 2lb (aside from 0lb of course):

Cool sucahyo:tup:, but does the car still turn? Well I tried out HYBRIDLVR's code's
and they didn't work for me, but it did give me some idea's and I did get a car down to
83LB and it still turned. I'm still working out an engine I'm going to use but I should have
a car up and running soon. And I did try the engine code out as well, and it worked good:tup:.

The car still turn, but still have almost the same cornering limit as it's original weight, only slightly better at zigzaging. Maybe a bit more weight can help, but for the mean time I use quadraple SS tire grip:
