Hey everyone,
I'm looking to kick off a Group C racing league on GT5, just a casual yet clean and organized club championship. I'm hoping it can take off by April.
There will be a Constructor's and Driver's championship.
Constructor's will have teams of 2 cars minimum, and 3 cars maximum.
(if we have enough people).
A 1 car team will not count towards constructors, it will be placed as a privateer or individual entry (driver's championship points counted still).
Mazda (787B)
Jaguar (XJR-9)
Peugeot (905)
Mercedes (Sauber C9)
Nissan (R89C) (R92C* may or may not be included)
Toyota (Minolta 88C-V)
and if there's enough people, I may include some post-Group C teams (Audi, modern Peugeot, Pescarolo, Bentley). Le Mans Prototypes could be a separate class as well, but will compete in the overall championship.
And of course the driver's championship for individual drivers. Teammates and their points will tally together for the constructors. Like most motorsport championships.
The races will be simple distance enduros, such as the Daytona 100 or something. We can do the math and determine how many laps a race will be in order to get to that distance
Of course, I don't want to consume your precious time, but I'd love to have some clean and dedicated racers! And Group C is the place for it!
