I have the PS4 version too and never had any message, popup or something like that, asking or reminding me of the possibility to top of my credits balance.

If some region(s) or PS5 versions have that, now I understand the annoyance of people about MXT.

For me grinding for cars and upgrades is normal in GT, except PD putting brutal timelines to gather credits with the invites to buy some cars. In other hand, those are cars that have no use at all at the game present moment.

I've played on PS4 Pro and PS5 and it's on the PS4 Pro version at least. I think either a) people are not noticing it b) they are in a country where their government doesn't allow companies to predate upon their population

Yep. Decals are always missing to a certain degree on my livery imports. The decals are in GTS, l haven't deleted them.

I feel that the fact the servers are STILL DOWN strongly indicate that the 4th March release date was in some ways TOO EARLY - I get the impression that they wanted it to be released towards the end of 2022. The cracks and bugs are already being identified (they would have been nullified if the game released say November/December 2022). However, how would everyone feel if they announced that the game wasn’t ready and that they would take back copies (disc and digital) and fix/rework the game to make it smoother for a later release date (yes I know something like this would most definitely not happen but here’s hoping I guess) with a smoother game?

Knowing PD's track record, the game was meant to be delivered in 2024, Sony pressured them for a game on PS5 release date and we got this rubbish 18 months later.

I'm happy with that. It would, of course, be nonsensical if the entire point of the game were to drive the same dull race thousands of times until you have enough credits to obtain the cars required to start playing the game properly. At least now we know that is not his idea of how the game should work. I'll wait for his solution in the future.

Those words alone are better than any response I ever got from PG when I complained about problems in FH4.

I find it wild that people would do the same thing over and over again just to gain credits. I asked someone if they had fun doing it and they didn't even say yes. I understand some people are completionists, but I feel half the people complaining are just there just to follow the crowd. The game already gives you 80 cars for free to mess around with.

If you want to play online the cars they give you are worthless. I don’t recall getting a single gr4 or gr3 car. Now I don’t have a choice but do a lot of grinding to give me a good selection for online.

Had my PS5 for just about 26 hours and cant wait to play GT7 but am getting bored, i can buy F1 2021 for £12.....is it worth it?

I think it is. Espicially if you like single player campaign. The F1 games has some of the best single player progression in any racing game. Its like 1000 times better compared to Gt 7. The physics of the game is also pretty good. its not like a 100 % real simulator, but it feels good when you drive.
