I know of at least 1 maybe 2 if let canada in is really from canada, but i think 8is pushing it. I think that was just the easiest way for them to take a screen cap.

Let Canada In is Turismo Lester, he said it in another thread. I can't speculate on the others because I haven't been around too long.

I'm about to  If I could only get one particular corner correct I'd be bumped up. Got to a .435 and I've only got less than 5 hours before I have to haul to a wedding.

AAAAHHHHH!

31.605 and that's with less-than-ideal last two corners. I'm finally in the Top 10 on my friends list. Only took about a week.

Yea I saw that. I put it down for almost 2 weeks, I decided I am going to just make a sprint today to see if I can make some magic happen. I think low 1:31s is just too much for me right now, unless something clicks in the last remaining hours I will probably just end with a high 1:31. Good luck to whoever makes it though, you guys deserve it for putting so much effort into this!

Oh boy i just looked at rankings im down to 18th in US im getting real nervous. Looks like a long session is in store for late tonight.

You and me both, I woke up this morning to see myself in 21st! :nervous:

You really should have went last year man, I don't know wtf happened to you in the final round haha you were at the top through all the rounds then just disappeared in the final round.

You guys who are in the top 32 are most likely going to be staying there, unless you are on the bubble. Doubt there's going to be a sudden surge in times from lower drivers.

This is crazy looking at the leaderboards. The difference between 1st and 32nd is approx .300, do you guys know how close that is if the cars were all on the track at the same time? Its approx one car length. Anyone in 1:31s would probably have a fair shot in a race at the finals but dam, the top 32 is so close together its insane. Its crazy seeing people who have 1:31.6 saying they are "slow" when they are in fact right on the bumper of the fastest lap haha

Yeah I'm not sure what happened last year. I just hit a wall and stopped improving, but I will not let myself down if I don't make it this year that's for sure.

Just managed to turn a 1:31.473. So close yet still so far. Getting faster bit by bit, chipping away at my time. My theoretical fastest time should be enough to get into and stay in the top 32. Now it's just a matter of stringing together that one magic lap.

Mustn't give up.

Just great now my system got corrupted when I lost electric last night. I better get a really good time tonight for all this hassle. I'm frustrated and haven't even ran a lap yet.

I wouldn't say slow. I'm simply not fast enough for this competition, nor does the format suit me. If we were placed via a 3-5 lap average, I might do better, but I'm just speculating. :)

If it was over 3-5 laps you would do much better. I still have my doubts about you being fully human.

Well see. Take joeyfast for example. He just came outta no where. And me for example. I'm at a .377. 2 tenths which is very feasible puts me right back in it. These last 24 hours are gonna be nuts.

Don't give up now! Stay positive.

Plus, watching your times slowly creep closer to mine was a little extra incentive for me. ;)

You think your time is good enough right now given the people that aren't eligible?

Of what i have noticed about .1 tenth is equal to about one car length at the line on 8-5. Thats my opinion though.

Your probably right, I didn't think about it too hard, I was just throwing it out there that everyone is so close its really just the tiniest mistake that is keeping people from lower times.

Did anyone notice that it says 0 days remaining on the GT academy website?

Edit: looks like a 24 hr countdown has started

Just ran my PB 1.31.088, previous was a .150, dunno how many 1s I've ran while screwing something up in last 2 corners, this time it was a lil in the first sector I believe. Goodluck to everyone, is totally crazy competition, I think anyone in the top 40 could hit or miss another tenth or so.
