Yeah I was watching them try to figure it out and knew what was going on. Good thing they only have to sort four drivers at once.

Thats' great! Thanks! This helps me identify them. Only really who 2 of them are on PSN at the moment. Hopefully someone will fess up what their PSN ids are. Wanna figure out who to root for. Wardez is up there on my list.

It's actually explained quite nicely on the live stream page https://www.gtplanet.net/gt-academy-2012-u-s-national-finals-live-stream-day-12/

Round 1 will have 8 groups of 4 contestants each. Bottom 4 contestants will be eliminated
Round 2 will have 7 groups of 4 contestants each. Bottom 4 contestants will be eliminated.
Round 3 will have 6 groups of 4 contestants each. Bottom 4 contestants will be eliminated.
Round 4 will have 5 groups of 4 contestants each. Bottom 4 contestants will be eliminated.

4 Groups are done so far in Round 1, and they read out three names with 0 points. They might be in danger of elimination.

We are immediately going into a qualifying round with one out lap and a quali lap with the last person on the time sheet going home which makes it an even 32 (was 33 with Racer X). Then we start the elimination rounds

Those screengrabs aren't accurate. They changed the grouping slightly right before we raced.

In the first two groups for example. Keith (Jersey) and Illya (gtp99) were switched.

Anyway. I scored 2 points, so it's enough to go on to the next round. Now I've just gotta get myself fully on path faster. In the first race I had a slow qualifying but made up time really quickly after that. The Silvia's not as slow as it feels, always throws me off.

Anyway, here's a little behind the scenes. This wait in between races is annoying.
