The GT Academy cars can be placed on share, so just ask one of your friends who has the car to let you borrow it.

This is awful why would anyone do that to a perfectly fine car? Especially such ridiculous springs and ride weight, destroying a car's true handling is bad news unless your turning it into a purpose tuned racing car.
Change the tyres and drive it properly is all that's required.
Does anyone else share my views?

I tried this tune just out of curiosity and I have to agree, he has made it into a very ill handleing car. I made a few tweeks to the default settings which suit me just fine.

Just tested it and you are right..

it says GT academy 2012 no longer available.

Won the race easily with Sports Med tires, switched back to stock and can only get 2nd. Has anyone won with no tune and comfort tires?

Tried with comfort medium, managed only 4:05.xxx, I was 3rd or 4th ?, can't remember, should be winnable with comfort soft, as long as the car can finish in 4 minutes flat or less.

With comfort medium is still possible, got to be perfect run.

I live in canada and only did the first series within the Gt Academy as I knew there was little in way of rewards, except the cars themselves if I were to gold that cars' segment of the series. Had I known that PD would be adding seasonals to the mix,along with special rewards, I would've continued on past the Leaf series.

Just a little ticked right now at PD for not telling us about the seasonal aspect when the GT Academy series first came out...👎

Have you messed with the brake balance? Throw it into the rear and entering corners is much easier. 👍

Don't brake to hard.
Lift off and turn in early.
It might take a few laps but when you get the hang of it it's bliss.


Believe me I'm not an expert drivier.
But even I managed to get a 1:21.1 that way without doing anything to the car.
Not even brake balance alterations.

Normally I'm a laid back person, but all the complaining from people (sorry It's not just you Rit)... this one just set me off.

I have children, and I love them dearly, but if they had a "heads up" on when they would wake up in the middle of the night, that would be great! Just because the maker of a great game springs an event on you, does not mean that it is unfair.

Its just a never ending thing with some gamers. You whine about not getting something, and then when you do, it's not right, or unfair, or could have been better. Enjoy the game, and if you're not, move on.

Thanks I'll try to do better time (I lose some more than 1 second to this first Asian with pad >.< ), but I want to do my best on seasonal events with K-Car and with Elise on Trial Mountain. And I have some other online and offline tournaments from GTPL, so I haven't got much time
